IIT Bombay released a placement report in which it claimed crores of packages for a significant number of students. After the report was released, ‘All IITs Placement Committee’ (AIPC) held a meeting with the Placement Officers of all respective IITs and it reached to a conclusion that IITs will not disclose the salary packages of students from now on. I did engineering from an NIT, got campus placement of meagre 3.15 lakh in the largest IT company , few of my friends got 20-25 lakh from google , Microsoft etc. I was very sad, with time and effort , changing few jobs, I progressed and now earning much more than them. So package is just a start, real thing is how you work, how much effort you put to learn and make yourself standout from the rest.

Not every IITian get handsome salary , I have seen ppl from tier 3 companies having similar or more pay scale as they grow , it can give you a good start but agar technical duniya me ho aur khud ko upto date or upskill nhi Kar sakte tho growth rukh jayegi .. everyday after work 1 ghanta minimum khud ko update karna zaroori hota hai with changing trend .. it gives yourself the security and confidence

Placements combines multiple factors (skills, communications, luck). And the percentage for all of them varies company to company, Branch to branch. Big companies focus on diversifying their pool whereas startups provide high salary but look for 70% skills, 20 communication and 10 % luck. Consulting firms look for communication and analytical knowledge first as they need to feed business understanding later post joining. Over all its a big big tournament where your one day brings 10 shortlisting and very next day you didn't get any invitation for interview/qualify for final round. Gender also matters for MNC's as they need to balance their gender pool.

Employees ki requirements meet nhi hogi jitna Lallantop salary de rhi h😂. ( got data from various websites publishing salaries of employees of different companies). Saurabh ko apne profit m thoda katauti kr k apne Employees p thoda aur invest krna chaiye. NOTE: All media are in this range but this salary continues from long time and not increased every year as per world bank inflation data)

Lallantop please make video on placements and packages of hospital industry. It's pathetic to work in hospital where all hospitals are paying only min wages to its employees. Physiotherapist, lab technicians, dentist all are paid 15k-25k per month starting. All the hospitals have made this as a trend. Pay scale is too less. And they in front of yr face will say we don't require skilled people. We just require cheap labour to work for us becuz it's a hospital patient flow will always be there. 😢😢😢😢😢 So wastage to become a physiotherapist or dentist or technician in hospital.

My IIT rank was 1733 in 1966 but normal monthly salary used to be Rs700/- in 1971.

हमने अभिमन्यु उच्चतर माध्यमिक विद्यालय क्योलारी, श्री सालिगराम इणटरमीडिएट कालेज कोंच, गांधी महाविद्यालय उरई और दयानन्द वैदिक कालेज उरई में अध्ययन किया है और हमारे सभी विद्यालयों में पढ़ने के समय जीवन का स्वर्ग काल रहा है। जव हम सरकारी नौकरी में आया तव पैकेज के सम्बन्ध में सिर्फ इतनी जानकारी होती रही है कि पैकेज यानी किसी बस्तू को अच्छे कबर में लपेट देना लेकिन अब तो इसका अर्थ ही बदल गया है। हमारा लड़का कम्पनी पैकेज की कंफर्म नौकरी छोड़ कर रेलवे में श्रेष्ठ सेबायें दे रहा है। १२ बरस में दो प्रोन्नति हो चुकी हैं।
