I just now discovered ~Retrowave~ and now I'm really excited

Listening to that while driving gives off a strange vibe. I feel lonley like nobody knows me but yet it feels like the world belongs to me.

I think the 80's will be marked down in history as the best or golden years of humans existence, I'm so glad I was part of it. The years may keep on climbing but the 80's music will keep on playing till time it self doesn't exist, this is eternity.

As soon as I listen to new retro wave, my head becomes a movie theatre where one long 80's movie is presented. The addiction is real.

80s music has a unique appeal to me: it can sound both cheesy and cool at the same time. Synthwave perfectly captures this aspect! Heck, Fragments of Bach I by Compilerbau (34:55) even adds "virtuoso" to to "cheesy & cool".

When you turn to a section in a book about the 80's, there should not be words. Lost Years - Converter at 1:02:20 is awesome. I imagine a martial arts training montage in a ninja movie, with the protagonist performing splits a la Van Damme, before selecting his weapons for the final battle against the evil cyborg.

If you really think about it. The 80s never ended. The tales of glory still live on since medias like this that do their absolute best to capture what was keeps the original vibes alive. In some ways, we may never be able to be around in such a great time but in other ways, we are also having the best of it. For those of us that love the 80s, we have the 80s and the modern tech that helps us have the best-ish of both worlds.

A lot of people talk about sound quality being low res back in the 80's. I think what people forget here is that in the 80's we used primarily cassette tapes which is an analogue format. That being said, back in the days it would depend on your sound system if the audio had a good quality or not. 144p does not equal 80's sound quality!
