How to assemble Ikea ALEX Drawer video instructions with many details and the suggestions. In this case we have a free standing Ikea ALEX Drawer unit. I will explain how it works if you have an Ikea ALEX unit as a support under the table top. You can get Ikea ALEX drawers in a few different colors and sizes. I guess they stopped using the metal locks, Mine came with plastic locks

Yea given the cheapness of Ikea looks like a huge downgrade. Using plastic screws. Well this is my last Ikea. Glad I got a proper butcher block than the cheap MDF Karbly mess.

Omg this helped so much. I was wondering why there was so many holes on the bottom. I simply placed the table top on it 😂 I have no kids yet so I’m not worried about it sliding off.

My bottom two drawers are not closing properly - it takes a bit of pressure to actually close them. Do you know why that could be?
