How to assemble IKEA Brimnes day bed with 2drawers. This Ikea Brimnes bed is a good solution for small rooms or limited spaces maybe for guests it extends to double bed with good storage under two large drawers. This video helped me a lot. Thanks for posting this video. I had 2 men and truck guys shift this bed for me and they had messed the assembly. I did not realize till after 5-6 days. After seeing that they had not assembled it properly, I had disassemble the whole thing (almost) and assemble it again. Took help of this step by step video and saved the day. Thanks again.

I bought a large white trunk to store my infant niece’s stuff in kzfaq.infoUgkxNuLbiXpLQ-mKH5NlyjrNe88hiCk2N3Cg , as she comes to my house frequently. For now, it’s toys on one side and diapers, wipes, and other baby care items on the other. As she gets older, it will be all toys. I had originally wanted a trunk with a hinged lid, but I was afraid of her smashing or pinching her fingers in it. This will be a much safer option. The lid has great padding in it and it is actually nice to sit on. It feels very sturdy and secure. Looks like it can be wiped clean easily. If it gets abused by her, I won’t be terribly upset because I paid less than $50 for it on Prime Day.

i get that the middle panal has whitewalls on it.. & the outside panals have only one rail. that means were using 4 rails in total.. right?..(2/middle & 1 for each of the sides = 4) ...well there are 3 other rails in the assimbly.. i don't see where they go

In the video you said the panel goes on hole 14 and it’s exactly in the middle. When I was building it it wasn’t in the middle and in the picture in the directions it wasn’t either. I counted and I put it on 14. So why is yours exactly in the middle?

I just put together a twin-size Brimnes bed, and when I finally got to the drawers, they don't fit perfectly inside the bottom of the bed. They slide, but there is a gap between the bottom of both drawers and the bed, and when I pull them out, they tip down instead of pulling out straight. I can't figure out what is wrong...

plus.. each these rails are slightly differnt.. i can't figure out which one goes on which side.. the assimbly instructions seems to be a bit mis-leading for me to understand at this part.. but it seems like the rest of the instructions are much easier to follow.. ...im stuck.

melodic713 On the middle rails there is white plastic washer two on the each rail. On the sides just rail.

Ok you have 4 rails each pack have 4rails find L AND R (left and right) on the two rails these go on the side panels and on the middle panel (middle panel have two white washers under the rails) you can see it in video starting1:40 there is two Lshape rails in each pack these go on the drawers.

All yo need is two manual screwdrivers one with slot head one with phillips head and hammer. If you want to doit faster use what I use in video electric hand dril and electric screwdriver.

Length of the mattress is 200cm so you will have only 7cm left. Regarding weight 95kg should be fine if you go for it check with IKEA stuff. If I'm in your shoes I would get somthing bigger snd stronger. Only 7cm extra will be not enough for me to feel confortable.

Try flipping the metal support beam above the two holes for the drawer on the section that pulls out. I was stuck on this for hours.

80cm width... Which becomes around 160cm after pulling... 200cm length... there are both options available, including or excluding mattresses

Very good job, mate! Is the structure squeeky and rattling? Can you help me with some measures, please? What is the widht of the structure when extended as double bed? How many centimeters do the drawers extend outside the side board when they are fully opened, including handles? And what is the depth of the handles only? Now imagine you have placed the bed with the headboard attached to the wall: at what distance from the wall the handle of the first drawer is? What's the thickness of the side board? What is the ground clearance left by the drawers? What is the max height of a carpet I could put under the bed? And what is the height where the mattress starts from the ground? I hope my questions are clear. Thank you in advance.

I thing this bed is more suitable for kids or as a guest bed to sleep on it every day not shore about it. If open definitely not matrices are slim and you may be right with the slats not the strongest ones when bed open.

Margaret Sadler White plastic washer should be only on the rails on the middle. So two rails on the middle have rails with white plastic washers rail on the side is without. Hope that help.

Here is mesurment of the mattresses Length:200 cm,Width:80 cm Thickness:10 cm nthats mean interiour mesurment of the bed Length 200cm if you 180 cm still have 20cm space. hope that help.

Rails should be fixed with a screw first on both end, after the other 8 screws. Took me 2 hours to assemble this bed. On big locks try not to tighten it to much, it can get broken. Puzzle for men.
