I wouldn't consider this as a control oriented pad. It has some initial static friction when you're holding the mouse still and start moving it slightly. But while in motion you have almost no stopping power at all. It's faster than a QcK with much less stopping power. In games like quake you will overshoot to the point you'll probably need to lower the sens from what you're used to. Initially I was impressed just by the feel of the mousepad. The quality. But after a few hours of bot games and TDM I can say this pad will make you way less consistent aim/tracking wise compared to a more control oriented pad. It's like you have to use your muscels in your hand to counter steer every motion when changing direction if you're trying to track an enemy who spam strafe back and fourth. You can't rely of the pads stopping power to do that for you. I even got fatigued in the hand after a while. I have only tried it for one day... I might give it a week. But this pad are making me lose games so I'm not sure I can endure the "break in period". I'm using sens 1.17, 1600 dpi on 120 fov in quake champions. Have been using it with the Viper mini and the xtrfy M8. For some reason it also feel like I have higher lift off distance with the viper compared to my QcK.
