I'm not gonna lie, I was a little unsure about the changes IKEA made to the new LÅNESPELARE but after testing it out I can safely say that IKEA made their IKEA PAD EVEN BETTER! The best part is I don't really like "speed pads" but damn this mousepad feels amazing to use!

Oh thank you so much! I am about to buy this mousepad but I thought they are both the same just with different look. I was going for the one without patterns for the cleaner look but now I will buy the one with patterns for sure. Ikea should highlight the little upgrade.

Thanks for the review! The only ikea mousepad I can find in my city is the large desk mat with landscape image. Is it v1 or v2? It is also called LÅNESPELAR.

If you could link me the item ID off IKEAs site I'll tell ya which one it is. I looked on the Canadian site and I didn't see anything that matched your description.

is this similar to the hyperx fury s? had that for many years looking for a new mousepad. mousepads like the razer strider i find too rough. want something softer.

Just bought both today! Trying out the v1 first and I’m shocked how good it is in comparison to the cheap Amazon pads I’ve been using. It already seems so fast to me idk if I can handle the v2 😅😂

V2 is really fast, I usually play around the 40cm range but on the v2 I went around 60 and it felt really good!

Hi! None at all actually (at least on my 3 units). These pads are stored in perforated packaging so any fumes from the manufacturing get removed during shipping!

How do i know if i have the v1 or v2 ?

The v1 will have a soft non-patterned surface while the v2 will have a harder surface with a pattern!

@@mel0nFPS they are selling both a patterned and non patterned pad at the moment. Online people have said they are the same ones.

@@donkboywtf5327 IKEA as both the pads marked as the same product but the surface are VERY different! I definitely think they should clear-up the marketing since its kinda confusing haha

@@mel0nFPS oh wow, I didn't know this. Which one out of the two would you recommend ? I have the V2 but it got heavily creased when I got it :/ It seems flat now but I'm not sure

@@donkboywtf5327 V1 is a control pad and the v2 is a speed pad. Personally I prefer the v1 as I like hybrid-control pads but the v2 is also very good, really comes down to personal preference!

Has anyone used the larger BLÅSKATA desk/mouse pad? The design goes well with my setup but I can't find any reviews like at all. Think I'll just get the v2, but I am curious about the other.
