Thank you for this video! Just installed the same sink, water trap and tap and this was a life-saver, the Ikea instructions are absolutely terrible!

Help! Do I need to use PVC "cement" for insert flexible hose upside down? I only used assembly lube and I'm afraid it will fall out in the future.

Damn, I called IKEA because I needed to know if the circular overflow adapter were supplied with their kit, and they told me it did not. This kit is produced by Prevex(obviously) and I could only find one other place that sold the same kit where it even was shown in their pictures. Had to pay double for the same kit. I see that IKEA's solution is that you can use the same parts on the back of the overflow, and just add that circular adapter to the front if the hole in the sink is circular. As long as it works, I couldn't care less about how these things look.

The PVC pipe mural should bé vertical not horizontal !

Check the part at 12:48 whether that is not present in your case.

There is too much flexible pipe, the waste water won't drain away fully

worse fittings ever...mines keep leaking.. the bendy pipe and last loop don't seal with anything....

@@anaesterhazy631 sieht zwar gut aus nur ist der Siphon, der Abfluss sehr unpraktisch. Bei den Rohren mit geringem Durchmesser und recht kleinem Winkel ist die Verstopfung in einem Abfluss in der Küche (z.B. Spülwasser) geradezu zwingende Folge. Das Stecksystem - naja..., zu allem IKEA-individuelle Maße. Z.B die zu ersetzende Dichtung war im Baumarkt nicht zu erhalten.

@@anaesterhazy631 die Siphonrohre sind das Problem. Ich reinigte die bereits mehrmals. Die Rohre in der Wand gehören ja nicht zum Spülbecken. Ich kann das unterscheiden, sonst würde ich IKEA nicht benennen. .
