Thank you for saving my marriage.

Totally saved our $263 drawer cabinet unit. Put one of the pieces in the wrong way when constructing one of the drawers and tried everything but couldn't the nails out until I find this incredible life-saving video. The OP needs to get a medal for creating this video generously sharing his experience. The only thing that I would add is that sometimes when the board is loose, the nail can still get stuck; these plastic nails are *lot* stronger than people realize and the grooves on them just bite on those wood boards and won't let go. In that case you would have to use a plier to grip the nails and turn and turn and pull and turn and pull to get the plastic nail out. The OP is lucky that once he pried the wood loose, the nails all came out but in my case, the nails were still stuck even though the board was loose and I had to use the wrench. Hope this helps anyone. Thank you OP once again for posting this video.

we damaged the wood a little on one of our drawers trying to get these damn plastic screws out, so this is helpful for the remaining drawers! whewww ikea products sometimes are just horribly created
