@@mrsausage4946 yes, but losing just 200 rats out of 6000 would be considered a pratically steamroll, pricipally when your army is a fucking lot of skavenslaves that dont have good stats.

@@clairelili873 Not only relative losses count for victory condition. A unit that lost just 10% of it's soldiers but ran off counts as completely lost.

The heroic victory makes sense, the game gives you a heroic victory whenever you win a battle it thinks you should've lost with most of your army intact. But close/decisive victories often make no sense. I have won battles where I lost zero troops and took minor damge on heroes (e.g. siege cheesing), and got a close victoriy, that makes no sense

In total war on Legendary difficulty you shouldn't expect previous strategies that rely on independent events to help you win your other campaigns. Alliances will sometimes be different and war will be too with different allies and enemies. I hope it doesn't sound like im trashing you mate xd. Currently I just made 5 peace deals in an ikit claw campaign on very hard when every one of my neighbors and their neighbors were at war with me lol. Held my own vs stacks upon stacks of armies.

@@IronFreakV i get the play tall stategy on skaven, what might've helped is instead of choosing to let them seige you, going into ambush mode right next to skavenblight. They attempt to seige, the ambush pops, you have your medium ikit stack, plus skavenblights full army against only one of theirs in a ambush battle, destroy that army, the other one probably has to retreat (if it doesn't you can just kill it). But yeah, ikits campaign is interesting on legendary, it's a very strong faction, but surrounded by enemies from the start.

He probably did it and sent this save file just trying to make Legend suffer.

I sent the campaign, normally I would´ve just restarted but I was curious to see if and how Legend could solve this. I was not dissapointed. Also It wasn´t deliberate, the reason they starved out was literally because I hd been playing for hours (on different campaigns) and started snoozing off so I didn´t notice that their health detoriated that quickly.

Im not Legend but I can share my idea for them. Most of the times I have armies with some really great units (for example Tomb Kings and constructs) but they are unable to hold the frontline. Thats where I use meatshield (depending on faction, peasants, skeletons, skavenslaves etc). They lose like half of their unit and get just 6-10 kills, but when all melee infantry is busy I can snipe archers, artillery etc. If I siege and I dont want to use cheese and dodge arrows with lord/hero I place them next to the wall to take all the arrows and keep towers busy when my siege equipment slowly arrives. Sometimes, if fighting Skaven, TK or something that can summon units out of nowhere I defend my artillery with it. Again, they arent supposed to win, but to buy time for cavalry to arrive or even wait out the summon (Idk about others but Summoned Ushabti dies after some time). If I have enough money I change them for better melee infantry but in early to mid (or even late if you want quantity over quality) thats my use.

Meat shields about sum them up though some can be beefed up by other units or magic. If they are the best you have to fill empty slots in your roster it is prudent to use them.

Meat shields are just cheaper nets of amyntok. That's the brunt of it

@@rolewicz8891 every summoned unit does die at some point. I play alot of skaven and the summoned clanrats to me seem to stay longer than ushabti. So the clanrats have saved my ass in many battles as ikit claw lol

I know, i love him so much but he definitely couldve used a clan rat to pile those units on the west side of skaven blight and just rek them. or use the clanrats to intercept that reinforcing army then nuke it

Kinda for money food and getting to know what the enemy is doing and spreading corruption for more uses of The Menace Below for future invasions also you can spawn a full stack of rats on the settlement and in Ikit's case blow it up

As Legend said, The undercities are a good food source. So establish them in places you aren't planning on taking for an extended period of time.

They also have a building chain which provides 50% of the income of the city it’s placed under, so you send one hero across the world to place under cities in high income places like naggarond and lothern and massively boost your own income.

you can't move out of a settlement whether in underway or any other stance once it's under seige. The only way is if it's a port city you can leave by sea, but that's it.

i don't think he was using cheats at all, (otherwise incredibly easy to win any battle) all he was probably doing was having one small army to farm revolts from skavenblight and other other settlement for gold and xp, skavenblight is quite a rich settlement, and he isn't spending gold on much, so it's definetely possible to do, he was just playing tall and saving up money.
