புதிய இசை அமைப்பாளருக்கு வாய்ப்பு கொடுக்கலாம் என்று ஒருவர் நினைத்து இருக்காவிட்டால் இளையராஜா என்று ஒருவர் வந்து இருக்க மாட்டார். ஒருவரை அடுத்து வேறு ஒருவர் வருவது இயற்கையானது. புதிதாக வந்தவர்களை எதிரியாக பாவிப்பது , குறைகள் கூறிக் கொண்டு இருப்பது அறியாமையையே காட்டுகிறது.

Why should Arr be in Ilayaraja's biopic?! His role in IR's career is zilch. It ought to be the other way around! Arr's biopic (most probably his PR team already kickstarted the first step after hearing the news of IR biopic!) should not be complete without IR's role; IR helped him at the much needed time in the former's life, as a gratitude, which was never acknowledged by the faux-humility icon! Hundreds of musicians have worked for IR so far just like he did as a keyboard player, and programmer for Punnagai Mannan! Though Panchu Arunachalam introduced IR via AnnakkiLi in 1976, he did so because he was fed up with MSV's haughtiness. In fact, PA was impressed with even the barebone tunes of IR that he MADE A STORY to fit those tunes! Whereas, IR said NO to Kavithalaya owing to KB's haughtiness in handling the re-recording of Pudhu Pudhu Arthangal. So, in came 3 music directors: Keeravani (Azhagan, Vaaname Ellai, Jaadhi Malli - after which KB discarded him too!), Deva (Annamalai) and Arr (Roja) because the team was FORCED TO, owing to IR's refusal! BOTH SITUATIONS are NOT "the same"! Mani Ratnam, after riding a happy piggy-back on IR's music for 10 movies (Pallavi Anupallavi to Pan-Indian movie/album Thalapathi) moved away from IR because he was amongst those could not stand IR's music taking the cake, and their names being undervalued. IR actually helped new directors like Mani Ratnam find their feet in a fickle industry, by composing movies for FREE or LESSER compensation (Pallavi Anupallavi was done for 20% of his usual remuneration; Unaru was a FREEBIE). Pyramid Natarajan said "konjam luck". WHAT LUCK?! IR's tunes were rejected from 1969-1975 by the same directors who came to him LATER.

Ilayaraja started from pannanpuram and reached south India and north as well Upto some extent. But ar/dilip started with Ilayaraja from Chennai and so reached the some more parts of the world! IR had lot more hits after ar entry. He can’t be stopped by ar. Today ar stopped by many other new music directors!

Acadummy awards are NOT given for being the genius in any category; it was/is/will be given every year for someone or the other! IR went to London in 1993 for composing Symphony. IR's scores in Kaalapaani (1996), Guru (1997 - Malayalam), Hey Ram, Pazhassi Raja, Onaayum Aattu Kuttiyum etc. are as good as or BETTER than (and in no way inferior) ANY Hollywood composer's score for worldwide blockbusters. If you want to listen to the likes of SDM "track" (Jai Ho, Sukhwinder Singh!), it is your (ill) fate! WHAT "shift"?! From Subramanyapurm (even movies from 1990s) to Manjummel Boys, it is IR music that is being used with / without credits / permission, including Anirudh who "slyly" uses them because he is so depraved of creativity in music! Also, the ONLY "new" thing in Roja track was its SOUNDSCAPE - its music is NOWHERE near to the emotion / beauty / complexity of IR compositions! Local Kumudham / Mirchi awards or the Oscars, somebody or the other will be getting ANY award every year - just because it is given the Acadummy it need not be considered "prestigious"! Even his first National Award was ONLY because of the backstabbing Balu Mahendra's sympathy vote for "newcomer"! DEVAR MAGAN deserved the award very much.

Rajinikanth's last movie as an "ACT"-or was Thalapathi! Merely thriving through PR tactics, careful image planning/building (from the 80s, thanks to IR music!), (mindless) fanatical following etc. do not count towards "asaikka mudiyala"! So, you actors' fan-atics should try being sane for a change!

IR's Viduthalai, Modern Love Chennai, Rangamarthanda (Telugu) are the BEST of this decade so far (last decade being OAK, Thaarai Thappattai, NEPV, Psycho). From Subramanyapurm (even movies from 1990s) to Manjummel Boys, it is IR music that is being used with / without credits / permission, including Anirudh who "slyly" uses them because he is so depraved of creativity in music! Popularity of the movie / promo / big names in the project / market box-office success etc. have nothing to do with MUSIC. Arr and his fan-atics may not know such basics!

@@BC999 again you are proving the thing loving Raja and intended ly hating others...by demeaning them or their value...or rage for their success in their style...I love all those Raja Albums and said a bunch of people the same what youvsaid i concur...but never hated rahman or his greatest numbers...every time period had different basics for cine music ...we are not talking independent music or an Opera [I wanna wantedly avoid the big Symphony word since Raja Sir alone in world does that] here its simple commercial film music these all composers swam across...The operating pattern,tactics,style,trend etc keep changing from period to period from TMS,KBS,Kandasala,MSV,MKT,Raja, Burmans and many more ...but Raja Fans are very closed most times after Rahman especially ...enough of word play to show off or demean others by labels which none are not here just because we love a composer ...keep it to yourself... Even if i don't like Anirudh songs generation loves it...I shy away in curiosity how they love those but i don't hate or demean them for that...its their taste i can't agree with... if u don't like rahman songs its fine... we love Raja Sir and his songs always...its only you people so closed and demean rahman and their fans ...and call us by names which we are not...

எ.ஆர். ரஹ்மான் இல்லைன்னா இளையராஜா வாழ்க்கையே முழுமையடையாது, அப்ப எப்படி அவரது பையோபிக்? கிட்டத்தட்ட 500 படங்களுக்கும் மேலாக ரஹ்மான் ராஜாவுடன் இசை செய்திருக்கிறார்.
