But Trent seems to ad lib the tempo during the piano parts only for a click to come back in. Would love to know how it hangs together live. Great stuff Ilan. Drumming is off the charts. Beautiful work Ilan 🖤 There are some NIN songs that I see in concert that I just have to zero in on watching you play. NIN percussion is so unique and unmistakable. It doesn’t follow convention and that feeling of the driving rhythm of a song being off center and teetering between predictability and being totally unexpected is like a massage for my brain. PS I was glad to see that you had a piano so near to your kit on this tour. I think last time I saw NIN live you were running halfway across the stage 😆

Literally the only person I'd sit through a whole song drum cam for.

Totally fucking incredible. What a performance. Saw Nails at Rockville in May after not seeing them for at least a decade or two. But I had seen them at least a half dozen times in the 90's even in small clubs. They sounded different but it was still absolutely amazing. My 12 year old daughter was completely floored by the show too. We had bad weather for 2 days and both previous days headliners cancelled. Trent and company literally came in on Sun night and saved the whole weekend for us. All these years later and still crushing. Viva Nails!
