If non-citizens don't vote in federal elections, and the Dems don't have any long term plans to let non-citizens vote, why are they so afraid of legislation which prevents non-citizens from voting? Dems say this is a waste of time, but they had no problem wasting time on kneeling in kente cloth and countless other frivolous activities. Here's the reality: Lefty cities have been letting non-citizens vote more and more in local elections, non-citizens are counted for the census, which gives districts more power, and many, many Dems would love to find a way to allow non-citizens to vote in federal elections.

Most people in US don’t need passports. Traveling in Europe is equivalent to us traveling state to state.

The DMV needs to issue special ID’s & Drivers license for Illegal Immigrants with a different color background which clearly shows that they are here due to Biden’s open border. The only time anything in the United States Constitution ONLY applies to Citizens, is when it actually specifies it. Voting, being a member of our Government at any level and sections, not all of the 14th Amendment.

Considering how close the races were in 2016, 2020 and the influx of illegal aliens by the current Administration. I can understand the requirement for voter ID, I show mine every time. Every adult in this Country is accountable for his/her own documentation. I still have my late wife's (RIP) just in case.

As a poll worker in New Mexico, I cannot ask for any ID at all. The person gives their name and maybe confirms birthdate and/or address and if their name shows up on the voter registration list, they are allowed to vote. I could pick name out of the obituaries, look up their address, go in and vote that person. Or I could go in and vote as my neighbour. I believe out elections end up with the correct results but have to admit, the lack of ID verification does concern me.

does your state provide driver's licenses to undocumented people? mine does. they used to give them "id's", but now they get a driver's license just like a normal citizen would receive. does your state allow undocumented people to vote in all elections except federal elections (state and municipal)? mine does. and both of the things i listed above are also true in the state to the north of mine. the state to the west of mine provides driver's licenses to undocumented people. there is pending legislation to allow undocumented people to vote in all but federal elections in this state. all of the laws in these three states - regarding providing licenses and allowing voting - are VERY RECENT laws. anyone who says that legislatures are NOT moving toward allowing undocumented people to vote is either delusional or uninformed. this is a new trend. in that we have permitted numbers of undocumented persons equal to or over the population of some states (almost like adding another state regarding population growth), open your eyes and understand that this actually IS a clear and present danger. this video is propaganda imho. do your research. do not allow yourself to be mislead by videos like this one. the states i refer to above are: RI, MA & CT.

This is the most important thing you do as a citizen. Only citizens should vote. We should all be for Citizenship verification when registering to vote. Very good idea. Other things that we should do to stop voter fraud is to limit mail in ballots to people out of town. Serial numbers on ballots. NO BALLOT HARVESTING. If you don't care enough to vote no matter how hard it is then I don't care if your voice is heard because you don't care. Early voting is great. Every legal citizen must vote, then you don’t need to worry about someone illegal voting. If you have a Social Security number and are 18 by Election Day, you must vote. They use a ranked choice voting system. A panel creates districts to minimize gerrymandering. If we believe our voting system is the problem, change it.

In California if you’re a noncitizen when you go to get a drivers license there is a check box on your application. Proof of citizenship is already required for voter registration, so this along with photo id should be enough (requiring a birth certificate and/or passport in ADDITION is overboard). Voter integrity can be improved without suppressing voters, lying about immigrants, or stoking fear, anger, and resentment.

You're required to speak English to get US citizenship so not needing ID because of that is ridiculous. We pay enough taxes, states can issue voter IDs for free to everyone, and in rural areas state employees can hand-deliver them

Birth certificate or passport is not required where I live. Just voter ID and drivers license/government issues id.

The best thing would be in my opinion would be to have paper ballots in person like they used to have years ago and they used to ask you for your identification.

Prove of citizenship is required when you register to vote. How else would you deemed a registered voter if you didn't prove you were a citizen prior?

One interesting thing I learned is that there are people who were born before Hawaii and Alaska became official states, and this has left a good amount of people in both states- without a birth certificate or SSN.

Maybe a new type of ID could be developed that is your driver's license, passport, voter ID, and everything all in one that shows your citizenship status. Then require everyone to have it and use it to vote.

Illegals are counted on the census and the census determines how many electoral votes and represantives you get in your state so if California has 20 million immigrants that means they will allocate more electoral votes and congressmen to that state.

Most every country needs an ID to vote. I’m sick of people trying to make it sound harder than it is. If voting is important to you then you’ll get it done. We need honest elections.

Actually, Johnson makes a different claim - that people are concerned about election integrity. That's certainly true. I highly doubt that their concerns will be allayed by guys like this or experts telling them they're not warranted. Your guests approach will make that problem worse. In an effective democracy, voters have a legitimate expectation that government address their concerns whereas this guy just wants to dismiss them by citing statistics. It won't work.
