i'd say this band tops the sound of within temptation because of its brutal riffs & as amazing singing and unexpected twists and turns wrapped in minus 4 mins songs. comparing may suck but this band deserves to become big. been waiting a long time for a band to pull that off.

A proggy melodic Modern Metal number from this talented Swiss band. The production is absolutely exquisite, the separation particularly well done. Though quite complex, it doesn't hang about - 3.5 minutes and it's done - I needed several listenings to get my head round it. It's undoubtedly quality and its melody soothed my soul. My Score: Very Good 4*

I really like the "stochastic melody". I had to make up a new term to describe the vocal melody, it's less defined than most, you really can't predict where it's going next, at least the opening part, it gets more regular later. Anyway, overall the song is quite enjoyable.

There are gifted singers in America. The problem is that Americans don’t generally respond well to music that doesn’t fit into some kind of popular box. People at work look at me like half a fruit loop or something when they hear me listening to symphonic metal.

I am glad to watch music video premiere with lots of viewers. ILLUMISHADE's song 'Here We Are' is great! Lyrics are great & so are instrumentals along with vocals of course! :D I got to love the inside studio, suitable for their music video production. Lighting is pretty nice, camera moment are great, including editing! Crew members ought to be praised for their hard work! A solid performance by ILLUMISHADE in music video! This is how you do it. Bands need to keep evolving to stay relevant, but sometimes bands do a complete 180° turn. And that usually doesn't work; your fans don't dig it necessarily, you get new fans, but you also get people saying you're not really this new thing. This is recognizably Illumishade, but it also has an different energy and a lot of gravity to it. It's novel and true to what's come before, and that doesn't happen often. Exceptionally well done!
