Can't erase your object or image in Illustrator? I know, it's tricky.
📝 The Eraser Tool in Adobe Illustrator does NOT work on raster images, live text, or symbols. If you were trying to erase on these objects, it's not going to work.
In this video, I'm going to show you how the Eraser works in Adobe Illustrator and some possible solutions when it doesn't work. 💡

Thanks for clarifying the difference between eraser and path eraser. These are the little interface details that make Illustrator so frustrating to use for beginners.

Yay! Finally, a channel about AI for newbies like myself! Very concise and straight to the point. I like the fact that you explain different variations of the same tool in the toolbox. As a newbie I was having a hard time with eraser tool and I didn't know that it could be used on vector images only. Can you make a video about "Scissor tool" as well?
