@@nommy8599 the blocks from the world are duped by world generation it's a world that goes on infinitely the game just keeps adding more and more chunks. And if you want to go deeper than that it's just a bunch of ones and zeros in which nothing is created or destroyed only that the electromotive force of electrons is converted Into thermal energy within electrons. The reality is that duping doesn't exist because there is materially nothing to dupe. There is not duping in the game because the game exists only as an abstraction and not as a material or real thing and real things can't be duped due to the laws of conservation of energy. And if you want to get real deep bro the only act of duping here is you being convinced by the state, CIA, FBI, corporate media, Cabal of wealthy elites that these ones and zeros actually matter in an effort to distract you from the material reality of class exploitation.

I think there's going to be a lot of arguments both ways about that. I mean, Ilmango himself made a video when Hoglins were added vehemently arguing that they were "too easy" to make a cooked pork chop farm with... I also seem to recall it being described as a "spit to the face to the technical Minecraft community" that they could be farmed without needing to create a full spawn chunk perimeter in order to build a functioning passive mob farm for auto porkchop/beef food farming. Some people are going to like the idea, but people of all play styles, even technical, will have problems with farming being made too intuitive or convenient.

@JediSentinal

that's part of the point. if these things were to easy to get, the game wouldn't be as fun in the long run. having convoluted ways to get these items renewabally is great for long term players who can devote the time to making this sort of infrastructure, but it doesn't affect the short term players. it enables more playstyles which is the beauty of minecraft. hundreds of millions of people play this game, and there are bound to be hundreds or thousands of distinct playstyles to go along with that. designing new features to benefit a few playstyles without ruining others is challenging, to say the least.

@@burntjoint you are trying to bend my words in ways that they do not bend. You didn’t understand what I said. My point was that feeling bad to exploiting a bug/loophole/whatever is a normal and good thing, which I would expect from a honest and genuine person. The point about single player was simply that with single player you are playing alone with yourself, there are no other players towards which you should be respectful, so you can make up your own rules as you go; all I was saying is that it is commendable that in such a situation where he could play however he wants without doing anyone dirty, he still chooses to follow some moral guidelines he put for himself. That’s all. Saying a positive thing about not cheating in single player does not imply a negative thing for those who do. I never said it did, but you did.

@@WillyJL hes not bending your words, it was just a bit of poor word choice on your part. what you said could easily be taken both ways, and personally I agree with the second (non intended) interpretation. minecraft is without rules, i would rather watch ilmango have fun doing whatever than have him set rules for himself that his community wants more than he does. while I agree, it is admirable he sets these boundaries for himself, if they start getting in the way of him having fun im all for him changing them. and that doesn't invalidate him in any way. example is he tickwarps instead of truly afking in this world, both to save time and to save power for his computer. he said he only tickwarps as much as he would normally afk in an earlier video, but if he needed certain resources more I wouldent mind him tickwarping more than he could feasibly afk. its his world and series, im here for him, and only kinda the gameplay. note: that got way more wordy than I originally intended lol.

@ilmango when dealing with wardens it's useful to turn on subtitles, they tell you exactly what the wardens are doing. If they are "sniffing" then it can sense you, but isn't aggressive yet, if it "notices" then it is sure you are there, but not yet aggressive. There's a couple others that say "aggressive" and the final stage is "rages," that's when it starts sprinting and shooting the projectile.

You were really lucky when dealing with those Wardens. When I made a Warden farm, I made a single block mistake that trapped them all in a small area. Even if you make no noise, if you're near a Warden for too long it will just blast you. This is because it can "smell you", so you have to be careful when spending time near them.

@@justinbchen Nah, the Warden can still attack you, it's just a lot less likely. If you stick around long enough, even making zero noise it will eventually just blast you. All it takes is for the Wardens to "smell" you and then they'll lock on and hit you with a sonic boom. Cleaning up my broken Warden farm was really rough, even with the noise machine. (The moment I got close they started sniffing and to get them out I had to disabled the machine, break them out, and then fight a hoard of Wardens... Or rather runaway and fight the 2 that actually followed me across the nether roof...)

There is one reason to use the enchanting table, it's the only way to fully enchant a sword with every possible enchant, including sweeping edge and knockback. With a villager setup, because of how many enchantments a sword can have, you will just fall short of the level cap if you combine your sword with max level books, and you will have to choose which enchantment not to get. But if you enchant your sword first, and say, manage to get two max level enchantments (like fire aspect and knockback II), or combine two enchanted sword in such a way that you get three max level enchantments (like combining a sharpness IV, fire aspect sword with a sharpness IV, knockback II), you get to put all possible enchantments on your sword.

Even though the lapis exploit seems to be an oversight by the mod creator, it's arguably as much of an exploit as villager trading at full blast, just a little less effort required. By the way, I don't know if this still works in 1.19.3 but I'm pretty sure that looting applies on bow attacks if you're holding a looting III sword in your right hand and the bow in your left hand. This would have been more useful earlier on in the series but I thought I'd still drop some advice here. Anyways thank you for putting so much effort into this very interesting series, it's a pleasure to watch everytime :D Grüße ❤

The material -> ore -> more material loop reminds me of scrap from industrial craft modded xD It made perfect sense, a box of scrap can contain just about any raw material in the game. To produce scrap there's a recycler, that accepts any material in the game as fuel. Perfectly balanced in every way, anything goes into it, anything comes out. Sounds super fair until you realize that you can make a cobblestone farm, feed it into recyclers, open the produced scrap, and generate a wide variety of resources from cobblestone.

Great episode! I think you should edit it so that the creative section comes before the survival part. I think as a viewer I would come away from the video thinking more progress was made because the survival progress would be more fresh in my mind.

It would be cool if blowing lapis up with tnt generated profit. Then with autocrafting you could hook it up together to make a lapis farm

For the logic in the farm with both modules, you can use an AND gate from the piston chain from thr warped and the crimson parts and attach it to both monostable circuit starters (I didn't hear everything you said)

With that autocrafting mechanic you could design fully automatic diamond farm

If you put a gold version of the item you want to enchant in the table first, you're more likely to get the best enchantment combinations!. 1, Gold item in, 2. replace with diamond/netherite version. This is because gold is technically better according to the enchanting table

If lapis was used for more than dye and enchanting tables then it would probably be a little exploitative but I'd say it's fine.

At 29:11 where you mention that the blocks can be generated in front of the piston and break the farm. Instead of redesigning everything, you could have moved the piston one block down so it would move the observer instead. Then you would be below the height where the tree can grow.

it's not a simple as that. the timings are very tight and I'm using the fact that the dispenser only gets triggered if the piston fires. There are always so many things like timings, synergies and available space that need to be considered that simple solutions not always solve the issues

Tango Tek built a version of this auto nether tree farm recently where instead of creating the blast efficient shape, he just built 4 modules that all push their outputs into each other.

The infinite lapis via Fortune is mostly just funny xD You already have infinite emeralds for infinite trades, it's pretty funny that there's an oversight where you can just infinitely get lapis xD

There's actually a way to get vamilla ores in skyblock, even in the end. You basically build a flying machine that has stone blocks in unloaded chunks that have never been generated, then the population script runs. It also works in the end since mojang just copied the script into the end lmao. ElRichMC made it in his survival series, it is one of his latest videos, I recommend you to check it out (it's in Spanish tho).

If you could make a tutorial video about that nether tree farm, and a world download, would love to add that farm to my blast chamber.

I’ve made a renewables datapack (waiting for modrinth to support datapacks) and the way I fixed the lapis thing was making it be crafting like 4 blocks with one stone to make one ore
