As a Turk, it pains me to my very core that most Turks have little to no idea who this heroic soldier is. It pains me even more that modern Muslims around the world, including me, are not even at the same level as Fahreddin Pasha. The British gave him the nickname "The tiger of the desert", a fitting name to a hero of Islam. May Allah grant him the highest levels of Jannah.

We Muslims of all different colors, creed, nationalities, need to learn about our religion, Learn deen, Teach deen , this has always been the way of all our pious predecessors. Our religion was built on the blood of martys, let all of us collectively remember that and build on their legacy. For ourselves and our progeny, for future generations to come. He was also the man who protected the relics of RasoolAllah ﷺ & sent them to Istanbul. He & his men suffered hunger & thirst for over 48 months protecting the city of the Messenger ﷺ. The waves of that fitna & betrayal can still be felt until this day.

@@emmnasr8989 1) Süleyman Beyoğlu/ Medine Müdafası ve Fahreddin Paşa 2) Feridun Kandemir/ Fahreddin Paşa'nın Medine Müdafası I read the first one whole but couldn't read the second one completely because it was written in old Turkish, so it was not easy to read for me. But in the future, I'll try to read it again insha'Allah. I think the second one is better because it was written by Fahreddin Pasha's brother in arms.

@ You are asking this question in a very wrong way. Our respect for Atatürk saved us from this Arab nastiness. The Ottoman Empire was not the empire you imagined! They hanged the rebellious Turks. In 600 years we were almost assimilated. Thousands of Arabic words entered Turkish. My respect and love for the Prophet is endless, but his people did not follow his path, in this case, no one has the right to hold us Turks accountable, especially you non-Turks.

Thank you for this video. I have a soft spot for Fahreddin Paşa, whenever I'm reminded of him I feel really sad and can't help but cry. He defended the city for 72 days, fighting the enemy, thirst and hunger in the middle of the desert only eating grasshoppers. May Allah reward him with the highest place in Jannah.

Fahrettin Pasha resisted until his last breath not to leave the grave of our Prophet to the British and treacherous Bedouins, but his soldiers forced him to surrender to the British. They knocked him out and gave him to the invaders. Because the British threatened to bomb Medina. Allah bless Fahrettin Pasha.

During the defense of Madinah, Fahreddin Pasha organised a poem contest for Rasulullah Saw.The translation of the poem below is the winner, written by Idris Sabih Bey. “We entered under the command of a Ulu'l-amr. You are our khan we pledged loyalty from eternity We were little, thanks to you, we ended up You are our sultan in the world and the hereafter We forgot Ilhan, Black Oguz( non muslim Turkic states) We engraved you to our eyeballs O our master, Forgive our fault for Our thousand-odd years of labor for Islam Even if we have a lot of guilt, we have no bad intention We are spoiled by your good news Our hearts are rich, our eyes are full We will be fed with a bite of your shafaat For some reason no one listens, alas Our wish so pure Even if you are an illiterate, O Messenger of Allah Only you read our hearts The water of the fountains has run out Our tears did not rest, mercy The ashes of the censers turned cold Nation in burning their heart with your love What blood have we shed for you? For the righteousness of that Great Book, dear May our strength reach and not reach We will always fight for We as the sons of Ertugrul we can not do without you We as Turks can give our lives but not our beloved one( prophet saw) We are Your Eternal Hadimu'l-Harameyn(servant of the holy lands) Even if we die, our soul awaits “ This was the spirit of the Turkish army defending Madinah.May Allah give mercy to their souls

Sharif Hussein betrayed the Ottoman Empire as he wanted the New Caliphate (Promised by the British) to be from his descendants but he was betrayed by the British who chose the Saud Family and so he had to flee to Amman where he later died. Some people that saw him during his last days described him as someone who used to always cry for what he had done to the Amir Al Mumineen and to the Ottomans, he later died in regret on the 4th of June 1931 at the age of 77.

Not only turks but for anybody else on that matter. I am muslim and a turk elhamdulillah. And I don't want one state or ottoman empire back. Whatever you think about ottomans or turks doesn't matter. There are a lot of arab think that ottoman empire plundered thier land and exploit their economic wealth or culture so they hate Turks and Ottomans for it. I don't want such a hate towards my race and country again. I can say that ottomans did not exploit your wealth or assimilate your people. Every ottoman citizen suffer from 19. century. Turks also suffer badly from constant wars and government policies in ottoman empire. After 50 years from ww1 still half of people in Türkiye couln't find a shoe or food. However I can't change nobodys mind. So I believe every muslim country should develop and flourish their own term and stop fighting with themselves. But I believe one government or muslim union like eu is a bad idea.

However, the betrayal of sheriff Husayn came at the time where the ottomans needed his support the most, as they were being attacked by the allies on all fronts.
