She also does a version of ‘lean on me’ (the bill withers song you referred to) from the same series of TV shows (immortal songs 2). As with all the songs she sings, Sohyang is responsible for the arrangements. The only reason she is not a household name all over the world is because she’s not interested in fame/fortune, all the big record companies have tried to sign her up in the past. Bingo! Yes, it's branding, marketing, and in the USA (I'm American and was a performing singer/musician for almost 60 years so I feel free to say this.) Somewhat like brain-washing! So Yhang is a spectacular artist with millions of fans outside of the USA. Same goes for Dimash, Morrisette Amon, and Hua Chenyu. These people consider themselves to be "Artists" first and foremost.
