It's been already a half of my life (I was 14 when I started :) that I've been listening to AV. I've since discovered so many new genres, artists and songs but none of them thrills me as much as do the songs of Alphaville. And sure I've heard many other great artists but it's just something about this band's music... it's like the first time you fall in love... any new thing - no matter how good - just has a different feel to it. I really hope to see them play once again in my country, so I could see them live for the third time. Them and WASP ;) Totally different, but both with great, inspiring leaders and so much of an artistic legacy.

Absolutely same here. I'm an avid EDM fan, I love every track with brutal bass and synthesizer. But Alphaville have the very special place in my heart. They are kinda magical band.

Эту песню сложно испортить. Я не могу сказать, что мне не понравилось исполнение, быть может, отчасти по той причине, что я люблю эту песню бесконечно... Понравилось... Но щемящее чувство, вызывающее светлые слезы грусти и желание поднять руки к небу, коснуться... (именно так, как поднял их Дэн Рейнольдс... удивительно, как музыка вызывает желание сделать схожие жесты!) пронзило именно со звуков, которые сорвались с губ Мариана... Я не знаю, почему так происходит... С Днем рождения, мистер Голд, спасибо Вам за мир, который подарили...

What annoys me here i Marion has just proven he can still hit those notes and can still pull off that sound we all love, but his recent live tracks (you can search em on youtube) suck ass, like he doesn't sing them anything like this any more, but tries to go for some club house shit, and goes no where near these high notes anymore. good example here kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oMyUfZNj1dOYmIU.html
