I’m in my 50s and I bawled when I listened to this. Losing your youth is very sad. To any young person reading this...act now and make a difference now. Never put off your dreams til you start to get older.

Same here, I'm young at heart, but everyone only sees the body that's getting older, youth is so precious! don't waste it on hate and fear of each other embrace it, you are more beautiful and handsome than you can imagine, you sadly won't understand until one day you look back and realize you're actually getting old, it happens faster than you think, than you can possibly imagine!

I didn't got to enjoyed my youth , my dad was so strick, I just wasted my twenties. I did enjoyed my thirties, now I am close to fourties my body is in pain, I don't know if I will go to my fifties. I think the best part in life is your youth to your twenties.

I’m coming up to 75, consider myself still young, gonna hang on as long as is possible till fate breaks my stride. A beautiful song & yes you look back & think where the hell did the time go. You can’t bestow your wisdom on the young, they have to have their own journey as we did. Love & light.

Im 51 and dying of a heart disease. I wish our kids could understand how much our music shaped our lives. How much we learned from all those songs. The lessons that those songs taught us. Today's music is lacking that. We heard a song and we ran out and bought the album. We saw something going on in the news and tomorrow there was a song about it. Music was precious and it was an escape as well as an expression and experience. Our kids have missed out on all that! So sad!

This is honestly my favourite video on youtube. I've always thought popular artists are arrogant and all, but Imagine Dragons proved me wrong. I went to their concert and it was so incredible, the members of the band are a lot different in real life than I have imagined them to be! After this video I love them even more; I can see how happy Dan is, seeing so many people in front of him. Makes me happy too ♥

This is such a great version: I remember being at Uni, circa 1985-6 and it was the Sunday after a weekend house party. Me, my room-mate and the girl he was seeing at the time were cleaning up and this song came on and we all sort of stopped and looked at each other, as if we had the same thought: "This time will pass and this moment will eventually be a memory from when we were young and had everything to look forward to."

Seeing how much emotion Dan Reynolds puts into singing and how loving he is towards his fans makes me so happy. He has such a pure soul, honestly one of the greatest people on earth. I love him so much, I truly hope I get to go to an imagine dragons concert someday.

This has always been one of my favourite songs. I loved the 80s. Anybody who is young now, please make the most of it. Travel and experience all you can while you are young. Getting old is not fun. Enjoy life while you can so you have beautiful memories.

+Hiekkanaama I was at their concert in Tallinn(that's in Estonia btw),when they sang Demons,Radioactive and The Fall,EVERYBODY stood up,Dan didn't say to stand up,everybody just did it! And people sang along! That was truly something wonderful and magical! I hope I will be able to see and hear them live again :(

It’s amazing thinking about the times older people gave me the advice to live fully while I was young. Now that I’m a bit older it’s like the time passed in less than the blink of an eye takes. Now I’m the one who says it to those who were my age when I was having it said to me.

it is rare to find a cover that elevates the original, not that the original was not amazing, but the cover gets godly status, this is one of them, one of two I've ever come across, the other is Disturbed-sound of silence! Just wow!

You realise what is a really great song, when its "effect" kicks in even when sung a-capella only, without anything else. I mean, the guys did quite ok on this one here - but the power derives from the song in first place, rather than from the performance. Alphaville's piece in the eternal gallery, I'd say.
