What does mathematics have to do with the nature of human thought? In what ways does it change how philosophers think of reality? Philosopher and author of 'Ineffability and its Metaphysics', Silvia Jonas explains how mathematics has come to shape our politics, ethics and our very ideas what the world is.

I would like to see an example of a disagreement within mathematics that has, or eventually might have, consequences in the real world -- by which I mean, physical reality. Now, I suppose the same question might be asked about a disagreement in morality: does what we think is moral or immoral make any difference in the real world? A moral conviction might make a difference in someone's behavior, but the opinion of an observer does not in itself change any facts.

Attribution of concepts to a Mathematician is no different in character to Shakespeare saying "let me play the fool", philosophically (?) As the most intentionally accurate representation of Actuality, the analysis composed by "One who practices Mathematics" describing some available aspect of the Universe is necessarily strictly limited within the rules of Conjures, to elementary abstracts. Good talk and mental exercise.

Disagreement in mathematics? On what exactly? Mathematics is just a language. Things are just what they are defined to be.

usually disagreement about which axioms are considered normal, like S5 modal logic system.

The most important disagreement imo is about infinity. Does it exist at all in the first place and then about the logic of working with it. Then there is disagreement about definitions - whether some are circular and not. Logic does not deal with the contents of the sentences but only with their truth values. When you introduce the contents turns out there are a lot of gray areas. That is why double negation does not work at times. And many other cases of disagreement.

"There is no one uniquely right answer..." is that a uniquely right answer about mathematics? If so, then are there are uniquely right answers to mathematics?

the real right answer is just ....... obviously she has to talk to present something to make this experience nice.

Is there a diffrence between someone who believes they are doing the right thing subjectivly, and someone who thinks they are doing it objectivly, when they perform the same action?

Actually moral is just an expression of intuitive mathematics which is very real - and yes there is a core mathematical way of understanding (interpreting) everything. It just has not been found yet, by you that is.

so this realist perspective actually accepts some degree of relativity by claiming there are a whole lot of objective truths we still don't know about, nice enough

To be moral one must be harmless in the only way possible, by being a pacifist vegetarian with just enough for a comfortable life.

I detected a whiff of wishful thinking here and my gut was right. This is a typical example of why philosophy is over. Notice the door she opens is a "god of the gaps" suggestion. To see what she's up to, look here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ZuBkiMuHvtizYac.html

Only god can be a real moral realist...we see only what we are limited to see and yet when he shows up we all know it’s universally true

Did God understand fermions and bosons? Did God understand quantum mechanics? Did God understand irrational and complex numbers? Did God even understand geometry? Religious texts from anywhere on Earth provide no hint that God understood anything like this. But if there were a God and God did understand these things it would only be possible because of a reality and real truths independent of God.
