I honestly want to see what a fight between Raian and Cosmo would look like and also what Raian would do if Cosmo got him on the ground since he isn't a grappling specialist but I feel the kure clan should have a training regime for grappling since it is also an important part of fighting

The python hold looks like a rear naked choke with the feet in back control used to restrain the arms. That type of back control might not work on everyone but the rear naked is a very strong choke that squeezes blood vessels shut, cutting off circulation to the brain. If the choke is held then someone IS going to pass out whether they like it or not. So IF cosmo got and held the rear naked tanky characters would go unconscious regardless of durability. That being said, julius and possibly haruo could probably just forcefully open cosmo's arms.

It's possible, chocking out a person takes almost no time at all to do so. As long as you pressure both external jugular veins, the person will pass out, no matter how strong and how big you are.

I don't get the situation the Arthur would set up for Cosmo to submit Julius; that is a wild submission technique. They need to breathe but its a fight with a massive size, and power gap going one way. This part of the job a lot of people fake until its over.

I’m a BJJ guy, and a small one at that. I’m about Cosmo’s size, and some big guys are really hard to rear naked choke bc their necks are so big and strong, but they eventually tap (or don’t and get choked out bc they have too big of an ego). The hard part is their chin being down preventing the choke, but in a real fight you can neck crank them (which sucks a lot and usually are looked down upon doing it in practice). Actually, when I was three months into BJJ I fought this guy who was a karateka, wrestler, and a hockey player, but I took his back and rear naked choked him even though he was literally twice my size at the time (I was 5’3” 115 lbs and he was about 6’4” 240 lbs). Although weight classes matter a lot, and you give Julius a lotta credit for it rightfully so, I think Cosmo takes him in a realistic fight because these chokes work on people no matter their size. The rear naked choke and triangle choke definitely works on bigger ppl consistently and high percentage if you know what you’re doing (triangle is a bit hard but if you know how to shrimp and angle properly, you’ll be fine), but what I didn’t find realistic was the guillotine on a bigger guy. I like the ten finger guillotine better on bigger ppl, but regardless every form of the guillotine requires strength, and it’s very very hard to get it off on big people.

While cosmo could choke Julius, I think Julius is so strong cosmo wouldn’t go for something so straightforward

Chokes work on every human with a neck (we know there are some exceptions out there). But do we really consider Julius human? Julius can probably punch you with his neck in got totter

Chokes work on everyone, but strength and size difference plays a big factor especially when it’s superhuman, first Julious enormous size difference make chokes harder to finish because of the shear distance between the limbs while applying the choke, second if your opponent is much stronger than you he can easily brake your grip or bones and manipulate your libs while your trying to choke him.
