Sounds like they weren't legally married. If they were legally married she would have got around 70% (not 50%) of the property. Sounds like the property was owned 50-50 by him and his "wife". They were probably just religiously married.

There's no reason you should be denied access to your children unless you don't want to see them. And money for child support isn't extortion it's a privalage and duty. Or would you rather not pay support for your children. Could your poor attitude be why she chose to divorce you?

@@Aymanwil He has rights as a father. If his wife is denying him access there are laws to guarantee him access, or is it that he can't be bothered? Or, maybe there's a reason he's not allowed access. If it's his fault or not he should support the children he made.

It was "his house". If they split she should woman up and get her own place or live in her mum's basement. The kids will stay with the one who brakes his back for them, makes sure they have a roof over themselves and food on the table and he alhamdulillah can marry a new wife.

See that 50%, It’s not going to your ex, but to your kids who live with her. Your ex-wife has a lot of responsibility now, and she needs all the support she can get. Raising kids isn’t easy
