Goku form is suppose to represent sun wukong hence the more monkey like transformation. Goku is based off Sun wukong anyway and DB was inspired from Journey to the west story.

People dont understand that its only a few people doing this whole animation, it took 4 years cuz they got a life, shit to do, etc.

So many people missed the fact that both Vegeta and Goku had moments where their movement imitated a monkey. These versions of Goku and Vegeta are more connected to their monkey side.

It’s honestly more impressive how on model he is with every frame most fan animations usually have wonky faces but he doesn’t have that problem.

This really does look like some anime you'd see in the 90's. Also the only reason it took that long is because they didn't spend 6-8 hours everyday animating this. They had no budget, so they did this all on their spare time, it's incredible.

And the way he fights is exactly how I envisioned him - ruthless and unrelenting from years of training and missions across the galaxy, going about the business of whoopin ass w/ no monologuing, and tanking shot after shot as part of the actual fight sequence as opposed to a 'last ditch, yet failed effort at the end before Goku comes to the rescue".

Bro I’m so glad this man finally gave what the creators couldn’t and that is the recognition and a true shining moment of Vegeta fighting like a real a ass warrior/leader and not some whiny egotistical baby. This makes Vegeta seem more confident in his own strength and not like cocky side character who is always behind and only motivated to get a little bit stronger than goku. Ngl I like the Vegeta teaching goku how to control his power aspect.

I like how Goku’s transformation reflected his roots and ties to what inspired the character in the first place, which was Sun Wukong. It taps into the raw and primal power of his saiyan ape side like SSJ4, but it keeps the appeal and hype of the first time he ever went super saiyan, making a golden monkey-like transformation. It really ties everything together nicely.

Son Goku is a Japanese adaptation of Wukong it's why he's part ape and flys on the nimbus also in Dragonball he has his extendable pole 😊
