It's gotten very frustrating to see mainstream media paint good things as bad and insane people as healthy. Good info here. Hopefully people can carry on building a world with more moral character as people open their eyes up to the subversion in the public eye.

It bothered me for a while, but now it's a blessing. It's allowing people to really show who they truly are. The past few years have been very telling on a lot of folks I've known. Folk who'll fall right in line with what they're told, including demonizing those who don't.. and the folks who'd rather face the suffering head on, rather then bow down. Ain't good or bad, just clarity.
@MrX-zz2vk
@MrX-zz2vk 9 ай бұрын
@jamesborek8125 "Woe to those that call evil good and good evil..." Isaiah 5:20 And that's what the world is doing. Not just in politics, but the media, education, everywhere. But like you said, when they reveal themselves as immoral, low quality people, they're actually doing you a favor. For instance, if you're a young man or woman looking for a high quality life partner, pay attention to that girl/woman's or guy's social media photos and posts. If there's pictures of them partying hard and getting completely plastered that's a major red flag they're gifting you with. Pay attention to that. And the mixed messages. If they've posted on their page, wall or whatever that they're a Christian and "...living for Jesus" but on same page they've got pictures from the crazy keg party and sexually suggestive photos and comments or the same from someone they hooked up with over the weekend, that doesn't jive with their Christian "witness" that's another tell or reveal about their true character. Always pay attention to those things. Because they're essentially telling you to avoid them like the plague. If you choose to ignore all those red flags/warning signs you're in for a world of hurt. Any guy or gal who chooses to ignore all those warning signs will only have himself/herself to blame later.

What I have grown to despise is the "Sympathetic Villain" in most movies these days. They create these villains that had something make them bad as to absolve them of their responsibility and then its not their fault that they are evil, like the modern take on The Joker.

Best way to tell if someone is bad is that you walk up and they already have a guy in a black hoodie in a choke hold and they are telling that guy an advertisement about sportsmans guide and then they finally choke them out and while on the ground they steal said hoodie off their body and run away. Kinda nuts if you ask me. Would not trust that kind of person. 😇

I am 32 years old and this was another reminder of all the things ive still to learn, and all the things I thought I learned. Ive done alot of bad things in my life, I carry more regret than I should. I dont hold myself in high regard. I was humbled by the C.S. Lewis quotes in the comments because it made me think. As I stated, I dont hold myself in high regard. I hate and feel very uncomfortable speaking highly of myself or when others complement me, but objectively speaking, speaking truth, I am a selfish person. "Not thinking less of yourself, its thinking of yourself less." I desperately want it said of my that I was a Godly, courages, humble, selfless person when I die. Where it stands now...I dont think that can be said of me

If someone is clearly a mature brother in Christ, it seems like I'm instantly connected with that person no matter age, hobbies, or personality differences. I'd die for that man after 5 minutes of knowing him, and vice versa. I have so many close friends that I've met at church, with some wildly different hobbies and backgrounds, outside of that we both love Jesus and our families. That is enough to build some serious friendships.

I wish I could have been able to afford more than the two copies, because I hope to send them to as many of the other men and young men I know as possible. I plan to by one or two copies every 2-4 weeks, so that I can send them out as Christmas presents. I truly admire and appreciate what you do and the message you share. I have overcome a lot in my life, but I still have a long way to go. Videos like this are a great reminder to stop and evaluate the places I still have plenty of room for improvement. I have a great relationship with my children and a very respectful and courteous relationship with my wife, but there is plenty of room for improvement on my part for our relationship to be more "friendly and playful". It's so easy in our world to get burdened and weighed down by the "have too's" and "need too's" these gentle reminders go a long way to self evaluating where we are at and what is truly important!
