As you mentioned singing outside in the wind live and at the beginning singing acapella is incredibly hard and she knocked it out of the park. She also did the saxophone break with her amazing riffs which I have never heard anyone do that before. This was on Begin Again Korea, 2020. There were 9 outdoor shows and Sohyang is on 6 out of them. They are all popular artists who traveled around South Korea to bring hope to the people during the pandemic. The line up of artist changes a bit over time as some leave and a few new ones come in. They all do solos, duets and back up singing for each other.

Another GREAT reaction ladies. Everyone on the stage with the PHENOMENAL So Hyang, are famous/popular musicians and K-Pop artists. This installment of Begin Again Korea, was during the summer of the first year of the pandemic, when there distancing restrictions. This group traveled around South Korea performing mini acoustic concerts. The purpose was to comfort people during the pandemic. With exception of this performance, the audiences were small due to Covid19 restrictions, and selected through a lottery. So Hyang had signed on for six episodes. This amazing woman performed throughout the pandemic, even though she has a compromised immune system. She has had eight bouts of pneumonia between 2016 - 2020. One bout of pneumonia in 2018, nearly ended her singing career.

They were all amazed. He invited her to sing on his tour in Asia. She did 8 shows in 4 days in Tokyo. Foster co-wrote that song. He arranged and produced it for Whitney for her album, and her performance in "The Bodyguard". Foster has won 16 Grammy Awards, including 3 for Producer of the Year, and has been nominated a total of 47 times.

Thanks for the reaction! All those musicians sitting beside So Hyang are themselves virtuoso performers. Some of them have said in interviews that they are all blown completely away when So Hyang starts to sing. There is something about being in the same space and hearing her voice that is magical. Her version of 'I Have Nothing' (another Whitney song) from the DMC Festival is perhaps the best live performance ever done of that song, including the original. Not comparing any of those others to Sohyang because you can't. To let you know who those other people are her "groupies". The guy next to her is Henry a world class violinist and graduate of the Berkley College of Music in Boston. The 2 young ladies to her right are Lee Suhyun who has a beautiful voice and half of the famous duo AKMU with her brother. The dark-haired girl is Lee Hi who has had many top hits since sha was 16. Just a little context that is a TV show called "Begin Again". All the people in that video are worth giving a listen.

Great reaction. Just so you know. Although SoHyang is not as popular as other singers( K-pop and etc) in Korean public stages due to her lack of appearances (religious and health reasons), she has always been known as "The singer" among the singers. The Queen. Check her performance in " I have nothing". It is even crazier than what Whitney did. Also check a song called "Home" from her. You will see her true color.

Yeah. So Hyang really has no equal in the world of singing/sanging. Mori is a very close second. Maybe in another 10 years. So Hyang is 45, though she looks like 30+, and Mori is 26. Try "Everyone" to see what she can really do.
