Demonaz is and always was Immortal's brainchild. The guitar sounds like classic Immortal. Great album. Percussion, vocals and guitar are on cue and rock solid. 👍👍

Τhis song will become an anthem of Immortal, is old Immortal and so fresh at the same time ,contains the nostalgia, Demonaz impresses, Horg's playing is excellent as always and it is worth mentioning how great he sticks with Immortal !

This album just kills. What a voice. Guitar tracks so rich, and bass prominent. The drumming is spectacular. Tasty numerous off-beat breaks, positioned micro-halts [maybe not noticeable to non-drummers], a lesson where more is not always better. Lyrics are poetic. It all tells just a simple tale. Album total effort and it worked. A year on and it is fresh. It's not just the album but amazing result of chaotic history of the band. They just said ok, and got on fucking board. Layers and layers of sound so rich, things still arise not heard before, I have no more words for it.

Mighty Ravendark has risen higher by each listen...just like the Norwegian mountains that I got to see last autumn...this could very well be the greatest song Immortal has ever made...this is so powerful and complete and has all the best traits of the band poured into one forge, the end result is a fierce masterpiece for times to come.

dudes, i dont know if you also get this feeling from listening to these singles, but i get the impression that now that Abbath has left and fights and tribulations no more plague the band, i feel like Immortal and especially Demonaz (being the soul of the band) has truly been reborn and since his arm is healed too, i can feel his energy and excitement all over these new tracks!! Even his voice sounds fucking amazing. Even better from his solo album!! Abbath's voice is classic yes, but there is something truly gritty , barbaric and clean at the same time!! He sounds like he can finally sing his own fucking songs after 20 years. This is a momentous occasion i feel for Immortal. And i believe with all my heart that we are looking at, if not the best, then surely one of the best albums of the year and maybe the best Immortal album in a LONG time!! It's great that he didn't discontinued Immortal, it's unfortunate what happened with him and Olve, but that's life, sometimes stuff happens, See I won't take sides and talk shit about each of them, cause both gave all their youth, dreams, and energy to this band, all their creative ideas for more than 20 years, it's not just to trash each of them.

Yesterday hearing this song for the first time, It truly blew me away. It just doesn't feel the same since abbath is not in the band. Besides that I can't wait to buy this album when it comes out.

For all those saying it doesn't resemble Bathory a bit: I was listening this song right now for the first time and it just kept me remembering 'A Fine Day To Die'. The groove of it, the way lyrics are put into this song, the pace... All of the song screams Bathory which is awesome not because I wish Bathory could re live through Immortal but because Immortal can keep Bathory's spirit through their songs. And if it was intentional it's only a fair move to keep Bathory's (and thus Quorthon) memory alive! Loving this song! Fairplay and good job Immortal!

Awesome. Demonaz always struck me as the actual talent in Immortal, overshadowed somewhat by Abbath. I stopped listening to them once he left, now he's back and I'm back. This sounds like the stuff I grew up with.
