Immortals is an action-adventure video game played from a third-person perspective. At the beginning of the game, players can customize the gender, the voice and the appearances of Fenyx using Aphrodite’s Beauty Chair. At any point in the game, they can return to the beauty chair and customize Fenyx. The game is set in a large open world, consisting of seven distinct regions inspired by the Greek gods. The player character is accompanied by a companion bird named Phosphor, which can identify locations of interest in the map. Fenyx can traverse the world quickly through climbing cliffs, riding on a mount, and flying using the wings of Daedalus. The full open world will be accessible from the start of the game. As players explore the world, they would encounter rifts which would teleport them to the Vaults of Tartaros, which are a series of platforming challenges that require players to utilize both Fenyx's combat and traversal abilities. Players can also complete various side-objectives and optional puzzles.
The world of the Golden Isles are occupied with various enemies inspired by Greek mythology, including minotaurs to cyclopes. There are two modes of melee attack; light attacks with a sword are fast but weak, and heavy attacks with a hammer are slow but strong. Fenyx can also use bows and arrows to defeat enemies. Players need to manage Fenyx's stamina during combat, as they will become exhausted when they attack successively. As players progress in the game, they would be able to unlock powerful godlike abilities. For instance, Fenyx can unlock Ares' spears which thrust enemies into the air. Armor and weapons can also be upgraded by collecting sufficient crafting resources in the game's world.

Honestly, I just use the full Gorgon Armor (Medusa) set. It actually heals you everytime you stun the enemy which we should all be doing during fights. If you're actually pretty decent at the game and don't get hit a lot or with every enemy swing, this set keeps your health full. Then you have Phospher the Lovebird to help get the enemy's stun bar up faster and the Medusa helmet to add damage on stunned enemies which helps eliminate them that much faster in battle. It's great for boss battles with adds and fighting multiple enemies 3+ at once. Things like perfect parry's and counters help this set help you. Imho, I think it's a safe set and probably the best set for anyone that's nice in battle. However, best is relative, so make sure to choose a set that matches your play style, mix and/or match or switch during battle. If it's a one on one, you can go with the Artemis Armor set. Your bow "Deliberation" (assuming you keep up with the upgrades) will hit like a truck. Another option I found to be quite fun and extremely deadly, especially in NG+ is the Lion Armor set with Phosphor of Companionship. All you stealthy rogue type players would find a lot fun in that set. Then, surprisingly, if you are a player that pops a lot of buff pots and needs to use health potions during battle, OR if you are farming for ingredients, the Aphrodite Armor set with Phospher of Passion/Phospher of Lit Cinders for a little more damage output might be your set. If you're going into vaults, the Tartaros Armor set would save you from some accidental trap damage. I don't get hit much unless I'm careless, so those sets would be my recommendations. I also wear skins which is only good for looks, but adds a nice touch. If you're new to these types of games, you may want to farm sets that these other comments are mentioning as there are sets that help if you get hit a lot or are easily overwhelmed. Enjoy. 😊

May i ask what is the name of the armor in the medusa set? i tried to google online but the closest I've found is the medusa lair.

@@MoonlitVision Stoneglare Plate and Stoneglare Mask are part of Gorgon Armor Set (a.k.a Medusa set).

I use stoneglare plate, eagles helm, Atlanta’s axe, and achilles sword, and healing phosphorus, basically don’t have to use healing potions.

How do you get the helmet for the chimera armor set

I don't know about others but I find the soldiers armor most useful because of the added stamina chunk and -10% Stamina consumption since we got so little stamina early in the game and first being able to fly I need that stamina and use helmet of Olympian for 10% more axe dmg because I find myself using the axe because the sword doesn't seem to do as well as the axe in battles at least so far early in the game!

I preferred the Valor of the Soldier breastplate to help with my traveling early on. In fact I'm still using it now. So far it's been really nice having the extra stamina and reduced stamina consumption. Right now I have 2 full bars+2 other chunks with it. Once I get at a comfortable amount of stamina I plan to switch.

Anyone know what armor that is above hide of the hunted deer and where to get it?

I believe it is found in either the Valley of Eternal Spring or Grove of Kleos. Do every vault and unlock every chest. There's also a matching helmet found in either one of the two areas as well. It is part of the Zeus Armor Set.
