xuedan he I love this man! He’s so humble. Just moments after accepting the 2018 Nobel Prize In Medicine and Physiology, he said that he hoped that winning the Nobel would bring more public awareness to these types of cancer treatments so that people with cancer could find new hope. And Ipilimumab was just the beginning. His work has brought an explosion of research and, of course, his work continues. There was a fantastic article about James Allison’s life and work in WIRED magazine in Oct. or Nov. 2018. I read it online. It was written by Charles Graeber who has a new book out: THE BREAKTHROUGH: Immunotherapy and the Race to Cure Cancer.

ANOTHER SCAM TO FIGHT COMMON INFECTIONS THEY INTERPRET AS CANCER THAT CAN BE CURED WITH $50 IN ANTIBIOTICS IN ORDER TO FEED THIS CASH COW BUSINESS THAT HAS BEEN MURDERING PEOPLE FOR ALMOST A CENTURY. MOST OF WHAT THEY DIAGNOSE AS CANCER ARE NOTHING MORE THAN INFECTIONS THAT CAN BE CURE HOLISTICALLY OR WITH ANTIBIOTICS. THERE IS A MERCK MANUAL THE SIZE OF A TELEPHONE BOOK AND NOBODY IS BEING DIAGNOSE WITH ANY OF THE ILLNESSES IN THE MANUAL BECAUSE EVERYTHING TODAY IS INTERPRETED AS CANCER. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE KILLERS WHO ARE FAR WORSE THAN THE SS WHO RAN THE DEATH CAMPS. ISN'T IT FUNNY THAT CANCER HASN'T WIPED OUT THE STAFF OF DOCTORS AND CANCER WORKERS BUT ON THE OTHER HAND HAS WIPED OUT THE GENERAL PUBLIC. IF 10,000 DIE FROM CANCER (BUT IN TRUTH THE TREATMENTS KILLED THEM) SHOULDN'T BY A STATISTICAL STANDARD THAT 10,000 ENCOMPASSES MANY DOCTORS BUT YET IT DOESN'T. WHAT IS IT THAT DOCTORS KNOW THAT WE DON'T KNOW? THE ANSWER IS THEY LEAVE IT ALONG. NEVER SUBMIT TO THIS CARNAGE OF A BIOPSY WHICH SPREAD THE INFECTION EVERYWHERE. CHEMOING, BUTCHERING AND RADIATING IS THE TRUE CAUSE OF DEATH, WHERE IF THEY WOULD HAVE LEFT IT ALONE, THEY WOULD HAVE LIVED TO A RIPE OLD AGE..

Whether though CD4+/CD8+ or macrophage cells taking the "breaks" off via aCTLA-4/aPDL-1 or even via aVISTA it truly looks like you can "raise the tails" to a much more parallel trajectory with the X-axis which is truly an exquisite paradigm shift for those affected by oncologic pathology. Bravo to you and your team!

It is a grat discovery sir. This will save the lives of billions. Bt there is one question. Isn't this removal of brake on CTLA 4 and PD1 can cause autoimmune disease , as the brakes are removed??? How the breake removal will be localised???

Why immunotherapy is thought to be a superior treatment for cancer? (Hint: 3 reasons) Specificity, memory, adaptability 2. What is the normal role of CTLA4 in the immune activation signaling? 3. How does the antibody that binds to CTLA4 induce tumor rejection? 4. Look at the graph at 10:14. Briefly discuss the significance of this data; what does this data tell you? 5. ______________________ is the first anti-CTLA4 human monoclonal antibody which generates anti-cancer response in many patients with different tumor types. This drug has since been used as the ‘standard care’ for ______________________________ cancer. 6. Briefly discuss how Nivolumab work. 7. Why would combining anti-CTLA4 and anti-PD1 result in greater tumor rejection and better cancer remission? 8. Look at the ‘survival curve’ at 36:52. Briefly explain the main point of this data. 9. How is this cancer immunotherapy (discussed in this video) different than the CAR-T cell cancer immunotherapy discussed in the class? 10. After listening to the whole lecture, discuss your thought on the future outlook of cancer immunotherapy and how is it relevant to your future career. 1 - 2 paragraph(s).

If the amount of Akkermansia gut bacterias has a crucial effect on why some checkpoint immunotherapies has different responses on different patients …… How can I improve the population of my Akkermansia gut bacterias? Is it correct that unlike Lactobacillus or Bifidobacteria or other species you can “take” in a capsule, Akkermansia has to be fed by pomegranate juice and/ or cranberry juice weeks prior to these kind of therapies ?
