This video covers the common technique of IF, which is also known as IHC or ICC depending on the type of sample being studied. This is a common and powerful technique used to study protein localization and expression in cells and tissues. All materials in this video are supported by the Ahmed Lab at Northwestern University's Department of Neurosurgery, funded by the NIH/NINDS.

I watched several videos on IHC, IFC, ICC. The is the best i have seen. This is succinct, practical, and coherent. This is excellent. I was a 60mins that felt like 5 mins. Thanks a lot for this masterpiece

primary antibodies can be made in the same species as the studied tissue sample

Yes, it is possible to co-stain those because the two primary antibodies are from different species and so will not overlap. Since blue chamber will already be taken up by DAPi, possible combinations of the fluorophores could be any of green+red, green+yellow, red+yellow using same secondary antibody.
