The concept of auto-antibody mediated central nervous system (CNS) disorders has emerged around twenty years ago. In this webinar, Dr. Romain Marignier proposed a focus on two paradigmatic auto-mmune disorders targeting the glial cells of the CNS: neuromyelitis optica spectrum (NMOSD) with auto-antibody targeting aquaporin-4 of astrocytes, and Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein -antibody associated disease (MOGAD) where oligodendrocyte are targeted. The presentation included a talk from Dr. Margherita Nosadini who presented the paediatric view and Souad Mazari who represented the patient perspective.
