bruh Hurb “the most destructive weapon we’ve created” that’s very untrue, The bomb is low-budget and small enough to fit in his chest, and there are many thousands of that same bomb. so imagine how strong a high-budget huge nuke would be, imagine if there were multiple of them, maybe even infused with nen. this just shows you how humans have infinite potential, and that they’ll always be on top.

You gotta remember Mereum and the Royal Guard are literally only months old and the strongest nen users ever. Netero is the strongest human living and he was only half a match for Mereum and could only barely defeat a single Royal Guard in 1v1. Imagine if they had a 100 years to develop their nen abilities especially Mereum who has the most broken Nen ability of all being able to absorb other peoples Nen. Let that sink in.

The back story to the rose bombs was to show that the ants had no chance from the start. That’s what Netero meant with saying humans have Infinite potential for evolving and malice and all that stuff

ElliotKeaton that analogy simply doesn’t work, as what was happening in that country or whatever where the Ants were was not known well whatsoever to the outside world due to lack of technology and such that they allowed there, if Meruem decided to be far more low key with his actions it would be very difficult for people to catch him, plus Netero can’t search for him all the time, again tho this is a “what if” situation, in your analogy that would be a very large scale action and would obviously be seen and heard by hundreds of thousands at least, plus it would be America’s own territory being attacked on a large scale, rather than another countries or whatever it was I can’t remember (plus with Meruem it’s be a smaller scale)

@Emperor No, dude, just no, they are NEVER good. The bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki proved this. The thing with war is, there's not "good" or "bad" side, just people following a chain of command, people on opposite sides of a conflict. Atomic weapons are the worst of humanity.

@Emperor I'm sorry but atomic weapons are the ultimate act of evil. Sure we have atomic weapons to defend ourselves but that's literally only because the enemy also has atomic weapons. I mean do yu really think the deaths of many innocent people in Nagasaki/Hiroshima was anything other than an act of evil? You can argue that it was a necessary evil yet that still makes it an evil act.

The miniature rose bomb segment has several purpose like showing that the "torch" of evolution given to Meruem by the countless ants was far weaker than humanity's evolution potential and technology. But also that humanity has committed and will commit much much worse atrocies than the ants.

dang, i come for the Poor Man's Rose backstory reaction, and you skipped it :c It's one of the biggest story points of this arc, to show that, despite Ants being "animalistically" brutal, humanity itself are far beyond ants, in terms of malice and evilness. the whole Chimera Ant arc, especially Gon & Meruem, are parallel, Gon is losing his humanity, and Meruem (and royal guards) are gaining their humanity.

People who spoil or dance on the line of spoiling (i wont tell you what happens but just know its a twist 🙄) do it to momentarily feel important. They think itll get them extra attention or make them seem cool for knowing what someone else doesnt. Yes a bunch of us saw hunterXhunter 9 years ago. Yes we all know what part youre talking about. Yes we all loved being shocked and surprised and anticipating what comes next. No you arent helping by taking those feelings away from someone else. Imagine how annoying it is to watch a movie with someone who has seen it and they keep going "ohh watch whats about to happen" or "oh remember he said that its important"

Pretty dumb to start a reaction channel and then read all the comments. If merely 0.5% of people spoil stuff, you'll still read it. Thats why a lot of channels have mods and the reactors themselves don't read comments. Blindwave for example hasn't read YT comments in years now and they have one of the most loyal fanbase. You just can't expect nobody to spoil if you ask that in a video, that's delusional. There are still little kids out there, people who don't care, people who don't watch the segment of the video that calls upon us to not spoil etc.

The message was, humans are evil as well as the ants, meruem at the end talking with netere showed more humanity, netero and gon otherwise showed they r cold monsters too, and for sure the rose is like the real atomic bomb looking like mushroom, the writer of hxh is a genius and everything has some little detail and message hidden

it would've been interesting if the king was dead and the royal guard turned against each other, namely pouf vs pitou. even if pitou knew meruem was dead i feel like they would've protected komugi to the end because it was his last request. meanwhile pouf/youpi? would be on a revenge quest of sorts against humans.. idk i just want to see pouf and pitou duke it out

I also can't stand spoilers and people hyping episodes up. But it's pretty impossible to expect no spoilers. When you have a group of thousands of people, there's bound to be a few of them that would just spoil to troll or are too slow to understand that it ruins the reaction. It would be better for them to not read the comments at all. Which sucks, because a way of interacting with the audience falls away, but that's the thing all reaction channels have to deal with.

Lol, they just don't get the themes of the show. Which is a shame for them, they'd enjoy it more if they got things like the backstory of the bomb and how it relates to how humanity itself is a far greater danger than the ants. How the story has been building that up for a while now, even with Gon threatening someone innocent and holding them as a hostage. Their reaction to that was also like ''oh well, smart move, he's not dumb.'' lol.

3:16 Oh god are you really asking why they are showing that? Sigh... Because this is a damn god show thats also focusing on world building. There are several reasons why they show that. Just to name 2 of them: 1. To show how strong the power of the bomb is. 2. To show how cruel human beings are, the ants cant even compare to that. If you thought what the ants were doing was cruel then here you get a reality check to remind you what humans are capable of in case you forgot. So no we cant move on!

Afro Shinobi nah but the edgy/emo personality doesn’t fit him. Also he barely knew kite and he was acting like his brother from childhood died. Kite and Gon didn’t spend enough time together for him to be acting like that.
