SPOILER!!!!!! Atom Eve can alter living matter, but she has to have her mental blocks removed. They were implanted in her brain since birth because without she would've became a goddess according to the old director of the GDA. Atom Eve has her own comics and it explains her life story and how her abilities work exactly.

@@buddabudda It's a little inconsistent. She also grows trees in this same episode. The rules get a lot more fuzzy in regards to creating vs. destroying. In the comics there is an implication that sentience (or perceived sentience) is also part of the block that prevents her from becoming a literal Goddess.

@@nickwittednonpareil Its not a strict thing. Its a mental block. In her eyes she can not effect intelligent life. Plants are perfectly fine to alter in her mind, which is good enough for her to use her powers on them.

@@haystackbill6187 I don’t think that’s too much. Battle Beast and his species are insanely strong-completely capable of taking on Omni-man. They have killed viltrimites in the past. Machine Head knows what Invincible is and probably wanted to cover his bases

I said it's an overexaggeration of the power difference to compare them to Spider-Man and Thanos, I never said Battle Beast isn't more powerful than the likes of even Omni-Man and other Viltrumites aside from Thragg. But Battle Beast is still well within the star ranges of power(even Thragg and end-of-series Mark couldn't survive in the sun for long, showing that even they're not even star level and Thragg is slightly superior to Battle Beast and the Mark that fought him in the sun was at least in the same ball park as him). And also even beginning of series Mark was pretty strong(at least in the same league as Spider-Man). Meanwhile Thanos? He absolutely shits on teams of superheroes that each individually would shit on Battle Beast or even Thragg. WITHOUT the Gauntlet or the cosmic cube or any other enhancements or amps. He's done stuff like survive a super massive black hole with just minor damage, slapped tf out of Thor and Hulk simultaneously(both galaxy busters and more depending on power variation), survived Black Bolt's voice three times(the third time at point blank range) also with little to no damage and proceeded to beat the shit out of him casually while interrogating him...Black Bolt being the same dude who the Illuminati(mainly Tony Stark and Professor X) measured the power of his screams and found out they tore holes in reality. Thanos is insanely more powerful than both Battle Beast and Invincible put together.

With so many cool side stories they could draw from the comics, they instead put so much time into the Mark/Amber annoying stuff.

@@darnell7871 That's what I've heard, and get what they're trying to do with this Amber. "Oh look, she's tough, independent, and so smart she figured it out herself!" But they made her seem incredibly selfish with her reactions. It would have been better if she decided she had enough, pulled Mark aside and just told him she knew, and as of right now she doesn't think they should continue dating because things are hectic. But they can stay close friends.

@@aaunyea4799 yeah, because they wanted her to be "smart" by making her know it puts her in a really wierd spot like "wait so if you knew does that mean the tears at the college were fake? Is she a manipulative psychopath?" She could break up with mark she has every right to its probably really tough datin a superhero but she handled it in such an ironically childish manner that it really ruined her character. Also i too really like the robot monster girl stuff

@@NeoDMC You could argue she basically is that plus some by the end of the series. I mean, SPOILERS Since she's apparently literally completely immortal, both age wise and damage wise.

Nobody can come to the conclusion that the Mark/Amber thing never should have been in the first place or that it was bad timing for him to start a relationship. Let's face it. A lot of what went wrong with that relationship were things out of Mark's control. Of course Mark should have jumped to the call sooner, but it makes sense to want to keep appearances with your girl, especially your first, and with the way things were going and he didn't really hesitate to find William.

amber was partially responsible for what happened to william's boyfriend. if she hadn't gotten so dramatic with mark, he may not have had to go pick up drinks by himself. so she has no excuses to act the victim in the whole mess.

@@mohamedismail6777 not really bc those powers are base powers for a lot of heroes for example Shazam or Wonder Woman have those base powers and they ain't no superman. Plus superman has other powers on top of eye lasers.

@@ArcticPrimal viltrumites have more indestructable skin and durability than kryptonanians and I would argue they have the same speed and viltrumite get stronger by age like conquest and thragg would literally destroy superman in a fight and they don't have a weakness which make them scarier while kryptonians have kryptonite I'm sorry I think superman would go toe to toe with a young Mark and he would struggle with adult invincible hell he might be able to win against omni man but other top leader viltrumite......superman is fucked😂😂😂

This is technically true; Viltrumites DO have some powers beyond the ones you listed (Superior lung capacity, moderate super-speed, and enhanced equilibrium, specifically), but they're lacking large parts of Superman's stereotypical power suite. No enhanced senses, no x-ray vision, no freeze breath or heat vision). They're high-precision super-fast flying bricks capable of holding their breath for weeks at a time, and flying between star systems, but their senses are MOSTLY human-normal range.

This Amber was great until episode 7 where they pretend that she knew since the beginning of episode 6 that he was a hero at which point I call bullshit as she can't tell superheroes for shit, case and point Atom Eve her friend. She figured it out after she blew up at him as there is no way that she expected him to confess in front of a crowd of people. It goes against the emotional intelligence of her character.
