Something I didn't realise until I was older was how serious the scene where they go to dry land for water. Barbossa checks the freshwater pool with a dead body in it and deduces it can't be drunk since the rotten body contaminated it. It only struck me when I was learning about how sailing warships actually resupplied that; A) Sao Feng did that on purpose, meaning he knew exactly where they were, where they'd get water from and when. The guy was a *genius.* B) Anyone who was on the Pearl was basically slowly dying of dehydration at least until they got away from the Dutchman later on. The level of detail in older Disney movies is insane.

I was JUST thinking about this like 2 mins before I got to this video that he didn't need to have the heart, either to live or to feel emotion / affection. He was heartless every time he got sad, angry, reminiscent and inspired or laughed at jokes with his boys. Like you're just kind of being extra about your ex 😆 cutting your heart out and putting it in an epic chest and being a edgy murder squid captain!! I absolutely LOVE IT!!

My two funny guys apart of the red coats in the 1st movie that warned Jack of no trespassing did join in & once I saw them dressed as Pirates I knew that was their calling & no the red coat military for them no more, two of the best two added to the crew & thus movie should just continue, on & on & neber end, i just love it all, love you always my Captain Jack- Johnny Depp.🤣🤣❤️❤️💯💯

If you watch the skin on Jones after his heart is wrapped - the skin looses its color/texture and becomes pale. Having seen many octopus/squid processing videos, seeing it now makes the scene more appreciative
