My mom once cut her hand and when she was in the ER waiting to get stitches a guy WALKED in with a cleaver in his skull. Apparently he would've died if he'd tried to remove it.

you Don't remove impaled objects! They are tamponading the wound - taking it out can restart bleeding.

This show was my childhood.

Everyone has a brain fart moment and sometimes it can to several people at once. You also don't expect an anchor to come flying out of the water! You'd expect it to sink down and drag, even if you're going fast.

He was one very lucky man to survive that.
