Almost reminds me of a story of two puppies who fell down a well with a cobra. They were down there for a few days, but the snake didn't harm either of them. In fact, it kept them on a ledge above the water so they didn't drown.

This made me tear up a bit.

So similar to baby Jessica, she was however much more delicate of an operation getting her out, she was much further down, had to go through a very difficult substance to get to her, any vibration made her slip further, they had to supply oxygen and heat down to her. She is now a healthy woman and mom herself after many operations on her foot.

This reminded me of a recent accident when a 6 year old Chinese boy fall down a 80 ft deep hole of 30cm diameter. The rescue team has still been digging and yet no more was said on the news.

100% yes, I hope they sued the people who dug that hole and drove off and left it....it could have been one of the parents that fell in it and got hurt...how slipshod and wrong it was to leave it open!!

this reminds me of the similar situation where a little baby girl got stuck in a hole which was in her backyard.. the mum also went inside to answer the phone!!

That poor kid must have been so very scared. :(. There was one time when I got locked in a stairwell for several minutes when my family & I lived in an apartment building. I'd gone exploring, & went down the staircase, but when I went to go back into the apartment, I couldn't get back in, & I started banging on the door. But nobody came to let me out of the staircase at first, & I got scared & started to cry. I remember that I kept saying "mommy, let me in! Let me in!" & I was wailing. Eventually they did come to let me out of the staircase, but it was pretty scary. We didn't need the emergency service for that, but it was still a scary incident. There was another time when we were living in a house with a yard that wasn't fenced in, & I got lost. I'd finished doing the dishes, & I was peeved off at my sisters cause they were being rude to me about something, so I went out to the backyard to get cooled off & to take the time to get it out of my system. But when I went to go back inside after I was all better, I couldn't find the house, & I went from door to door trying to get in. I got scared & I really started to cry. I was down by the creek by the time my mom & her friend who was living with us at the time had found me, & I wrapped my legs around her & she'd carried me home. I was crying & scared, but I calmed down. We didn't need emergency services for that either, but it was pretty scary. I've never fallen down a hole, but I've gotten lost & stuck in a staircase, & I've had a concussion. & I've choked on a sour candy just once last year.

everytime i see a video like this, i'm reminded of "EVERYBODY'S BABY". It was the first time I had ever seen footage of a baby who had fallen down a well. If anyon has ever had children, you know how things are when you turn your head for just a few seconds. ANYTHING can happen.

The workers probably assumed no one would go near the hole but there was a little boy who didnt know better....had they been mindful there was a little boy living nearby they would have blocked the hole!

My dad's cousin actually passed away in vaguely similar circumstances to that boy's ordeal. I can't recall the full story, so I'm only going to give a very broken summary of what happened here. Anyways, he was doing something in his garden, and he somehow tripped and fell headfirst into a hole (which could've been a drainage ditch, but I'm not certain) in the ground. My Dad's cousin found himself trapped, despite his wife's best efforts at freeing him. He ended up drowning before rescuers could arrive. What made this whole incident more tragic is that my dad's cousin had a brother who died from alcohol induced liver failure only months prior to his own death.

Cant really blame the parents. They prob didn't even know that stupid company drilled a hole. Heck, the dad could have broken his leg just walking and suddenly have his leg fall in. Such a heart warming story. I don't think people were as sue happy. But I just yelled while watching this "I'd sue those bstrds!"

My little brother here on Resume 911 is so cute and adorable because I seen him at the Amusement Park and I was riding on a Ferris Wheel and when I got off, that's when I saw mother and father with my little brother. When my brother saw me, he ran toward me and gave a hug and a kiss on my jaw and forehead. Then my brother asked me to ride the Carousel with him.
