@@EKKoSYKESMusicYeah I watched wrestling as a kid around 2004-2008 but my memory is foggy I didn't realize Kurt Angle left WWE for TNA in 2006. They got prime Kurt Angle and he eneded up staying at TNA for 10 years. I knew he joined TNA at some point, but I thought it was maybe 2009 or 2010. Knowing now though his massive addiction that prompted him to leave WWE, watching his TNA vids is kind of dark and tragic with his issues behind the scenes. I feel like I missed out on a big chapter in his career.

@@randellhowardiv8168 Not to mention the epic matches he had with Brock Lesnar, 'Taker, HBK, Shane, Mysterio, and more. The only problem was that he was initially made fun of too much and treated like a comedian. In TNA, he was a legit badass with no humour involved, kind of like he was in WWE in 2006 as "the wrestling machine". That said, his ability to be funny did help his career in WWE.

Well he also admitted on Stone Cold's podcast he was taking so many painkillers a day just to perform at his best. He said before they used a database, he'd literally get multiple scripts from different doctors and kept a log of all the pharmacies he went to already just to keep himself supplied. WWE wanted him to go to rehab if he ever wanted to wrestle for their company again and until he got real bad off he just wouldn't accept giving it up. I'd rather see him go out whatever way he decides to go, but I highly doubt we're gonna to have to suffer through an Angle/Corbin match, if we do though then so be it. His wrestling legacy speaks for itself, he isn't ever going to be like he was in TNA again, but we got to live the ups and downs of his career throughout our lives and that's more than enough for him to be showered with our praise and respect.

@Jay Harv28 Maybe in terms of pure wrestling, but not overall stardom and success. Besides, he probably wasn't in good relations with WWE at the time. There's a reason he returned home to WWE.
