+Richard Whitechest Or Apples to Apples. They're all very similar, except these two are funny.

CAH is Apples to Apples' raunchy brother who tells a lot of screwed up pervy jokes. I think my best one was when the card "_ + _ = profit" came up and the two cards I put (in order) were "dying" and "the penny whistle solo from "My Heart Will Go On"" so basically I turned something as horrid and tragic as death into a meme.

icearrow45678 It was actually quite funny and came across as a punchline to a simple joke. Maybe more so because Ashens was trying to demonstrate that the cards had no comedic value and finished with an example that disproved his point (depending on the audience). The cards are hit and miss, with the majority making little to no sense with a small chance of a zinger.

Of course, the German version at the time had the classic "Wenn ist das Nunstück git und Slotermeyer?" and "Ja! Beiherhund das Oder die Flipperwaldt gersput!"

WAY BACK when these were made, most people didn't have electricity. My grandma didn't get electricity in her home until 1948. 100 years ago, this was entertainment. If you had a telephone and you and a friend each had this deck, you could phone each other, or just pick up the receiver cup with him or her if you had a party line, and take turns asking and answering. In 1913, in an old wooden house with no power, you'd be surprised how much fun that'd be.
@TheInunah11 жыл бұрын
This card set is the precursor to Cards Against Humanity, which is two card decks where you put funny phrases and words out on the playing field if they're hilarious or relevant to the question/unfinished sentence. However, you play this by having all the players have the answer cards in a hand. It's hilarious when you play in a group.

Funny trivia: Got the same game from my Grandmother when I was about 15 or so. The funny thing is it was a german version ( since I'm from germany, obviously). Came in a plastic Box with laughing Aristocrats on it. Was as unfunny as this one and therefore quickly disgarded by my 15 year old self. Now I wonder where it's gone. >.> Thanks Ashen.
