There are two major updates in this video
1: I started a subscription-only English language blog at boosty.to/russ...
2: I released a free downloadable E-Book about the history of Kalashnikov rifles, available through the sureshot-armam... website

The book is absolutely amazing, with lots of details about the history of the AK. Love from Vietnam.

Can you comment with regard to when the full version of the book will be published? Many of us are looking to get our hands on the 9x39mm section.

@@mpopenker Is the book finished or is there still work to be done that cannot be completed until the political situation calms itself somewhat?

Hello, Maxim. Are you planning to translate your livejournal posts for your English-language subscribers? Especially those related to the USA and Ukraine? I think they will be interested.

I started my English language blog (link above) especially for non-Russian readers, but I'm not going to make it political.

Excellent - Спасибо! I should also say that I have been looking at your website for years now, and I do really appreciate your work. Any idea what the hand guard of that early (1946) Korovin bullpup - called the AK45 over here - looked like? Is there a patent drawing? Thanks!

how realistic is it for you to make Videos of the components of something like the TKB Prototypes for the "English Speaking part of the Internet"? Since the "Gun Community" will most likely not see the founder of "Forgotten Weapons" being able to do such a video after past events, statements and other unfortunes.

theoretically speaking, it is not impossible. Many TKB prototypes are stored in the Tula State Arms Museum, and they do provide access for filming items in their collection for a fee. Plus, there are travel expenses (Tula is about 900 km from where I live). So, I'd say, once my blog has enough supporters to fund such trip, I can arrange it with the museum and try to film several weapons in one day.

Okay, I'm subscribing for the possible TKB bullpup content. That loading mechanism with the magazine at the butt of the rifle is fascinating.
