Educated middle and upper middle class women tend to marry for money. However, the marriages that last are the ones where both partners are equals and are best friends; yet can also feel independent. This advice can work for people of any level of society. Also, some women know intuitively how to make safe choices. A highly educated, intelligent, and independent woman I knew of claimed to have had over 100 partners. She used men for sex like men use women. She never got an STD. She was lucky. And, she knew how to choose them. She is now very wealthy after marrying a professional athlete. After many years, they are still married. However, I am not recommending her lifestyle.
