Он хотел, что бы она жила как люди а не подвергала жизнь опасности а в итоге она умерает не оставляя ему выбора и он вынужден обротить ее в вампира, что бы спасти и что бы ее смерть не была на его совести, а Джейкоб по свому переживает эту потерю пока не взгляд в глаза вот этой девочки. Но не у ково из парней нет выбора своего в том регение которое приняла Белла изначально став монстром.

Y’all are creepy. Imprinting doesn’t always mean something sexual or romantic. It can also be a familial kind of love. Jacob was about to kill a baby because he thought she was a monster, but one look at her made him see she was something more pure and innocent. He even says like a brother in the scene, meaning he considers himself to be a protective sibling. He wants to protect her, to see her grow, to become the pure soul he saw in his vision. Any older sibling would want that when they first meet their younger. His imprinting, however uncontrollable, is his oath to be her protector from everything that wishes to harm her.

I know and agree with what your saying. I haven't been able to watch all the movies and have only seen so many clips. Don't they end up together in the future tho? In this scene he specifically says a friend, a brother, a protector, but, I seen the scenes that flash to all 4 of their futures, and it looked like they ended up being together romantically in the future. Did I take the wrong or am I right? No worries, I'm still going to watch all them start to finish. As far as me, your not going to spoil anything for me.

Read the books. Imprinting is a psychic and destiny identity thing. It doesn’t necessarily imply sex, and certainly not at ages where that’s simply not appropriate. If the baby isn’t interested in sex then the imprinted person isn’t going to think that way. You can’t be a predator and protect your victim - those are mutually exclusive.

Yea I mean it sounds weird and the implication is obviously that it will be romantic at some point, but if you're asking me if I care about a werewolf imprinting on a vampire, idk. Like... IDK. It makes me wonder why we're so weird. If the movie was about how 6 billion people got aten by zombies, we'd be like kewl, but one weird suggestive inappropriate romance sets us off. And since the imprinter can't really go against what the imprintee wants, Quil will grow to love Claire if she does Same thing here. Sure, Jacob isn't currently in love with Rutabaga, but once Ragamuffin (who already processes the world with adult-like maturity) grows up, it's likely she'll fall in love with Jacob (her soulmate, the exact same situation he described with Quil and Claire) and he'd have no choice but to reciprocate

i still don't get the whole imprinting thing the idea of imprinting is that werewolves have found their mate and as someone that did a hefty amount of reading the omega verse genre being mated means that eventually the mates would have their young which only makes sense if it happens with a human or another werewolf imprinting on a vampire makes 0 sense
