These things do work well. Like he said, if you don’t take them on and off constantly, they will last long. Have had on my controller for about 4 months now and it’s till going strong and because if it I can play on 20 20 sensitivity on cod now while still maintaining that level of precision so it’s actually really great! Such a simple yet effective product.

Ive been using these for around 2 months and I love them. At first I hated them but once I found the right Sensitivity combination, forget about it. I used to use the black ones on 20 20 sens but recently went down to the purple mid on 13 13 sens. And yeah I only use it on the right stick.

Adjusting your dead zone and sensitivity curve does help as well when using the elite controller

It's been two years since you posted this, but I needed to hear this... I put a kontrol freak on my left stick... and after your rant, I nodded my head in shame and acceptance, because you were right... I don't know wtf I was thinking. 😀

I’ve been using these for a few weeks now and they definitely help in warzone. I used them so I could up my sensitivity especially when I play aggressive with. Interestingly it helps me more with sniping. I would recommend even tho I think they’re overpriced for a piece of foam.

You’re right about controllers needing more focus. I used to slay on controller but now after playing on keyboard and mouse for a couple years a controller feels like a foreign language

These helped my aiming a lot. With the thumb sticks I raised my sensitivity up to 12 and then with the rings I’m at 20/20 on cod now

Something I like about my KF Vortex on the left stick (the lowest height) is just the greater surface area for my left thumb. Especially after using it for a while the Xbox thumb sticks just feel so small

When I used precision rings, they started to rip and ended up getting in the joystick. I ended up having horrible stick drift, but I used them a lot and very roughly, so I can say that for someone using them casually, they will work wonders

Man, I commented a few months back when you had WAY less subscribers. I bought my fusion pro because of your videos of elite controllers. Still holding up, no stick drift or anything although the power cable went bad so I had to replace it. Good video here too, ill definitely look into getting a precision ring.

Great video! Just my opinion on these: I used it in a PowerA Fusion Pro and on a ps5 controller, I found it working better on the ps5 because of the different gap in the thumbsticks, just like you say. Also, totally agree with you when you said they work better with the kontrolfreek thumbsticks grips.

Been using these type of rings for years they are amazing

Took me a week or two to get used to but they’ve 100% helped me in FPS games, mainly WZ. Lets you play at high sensitivities but still maintain accuracy. Trust me it’s gonna feel weird af at first but take the time to try the different rings and find your right sensitivity. I also recommend using with the regular KFs like Cuda said, it’s buttery and almost too stiff without them imo. For WZ I use the medium ring and a 10/10 sens. I’m also a crackhead who uses this on the Elite controller

Hear me out on this. I only used a small kontrolfreek on left stick for comfort if you have to press down your left stick for anything on a standard controller it felt 10x easier with a kontrolfreeks and didn't hurt my thumb at all. I'm on an elite 1 now tho and I just use the domed stick that comes with the elite for my left stick now.

good review, have the same first initial impression. about left stick: i do like something like the omni (or whatever has lowest hight) just has better grip and feedback. also in CoD you can set the max threshhold, which i lower to 80

I gotta be honest, I used these on the power a controller and the razor ultimate. They are ehhhh to me, they tend to climb up the power A's thumb sticks. The razor ultimate doesn't really have a climbing problem. The black is waaaay to hard, the green is really soft(would only use green on sticks with higher stick tension.) Purple is definitely the way to go. I do find that kontrolfreak sticks are a better purchase over the rings, they both pair well with each other tho. The mixed is what I got and I definitely recommend the mixed for someone that doesn't know what they need stiffness wise. I've only tore one of the green ones so far and have had them for 9 months.

Playing MW2 with the soft rings on both analog sticks with the edition MW2 kontrol freak sticks and the rings work like a charm. It depends on who you are if you want them on the left.

I’m assuming they send two of the same pads, like you said not for left stick, incase you have a taller thumb stick you might be able to throw the second on there and then it won’t creep up. Haven’t used them, but it might work. Like you videos, keep up the good work.

I didn't think that these were helping but I think I might give them a second try. The battle for control and high sensitivity is in ending for me lol. Also if u have long analog sticks u can stack the rings to keep them down.

If people are wanting to use these with the longer sticks it duz work by stacking them. i would get the lights if you are going to go with this route

Personally I love these and Kontrol freeks but ever since I bought my Astro C40 I can notice the difference on how precise the thumb sticks are, that controller is literally aim bot since it’s got superb sensitivity levels and you can also buy higher tension ones

Another good point to add is that you lose out on the full rotation of your stick so if you're used to locking out the stick to do a 180 or 360 you'd most likely have to force the stick passed the foam as it won't be reaching the end of its deadzone with the foam on. Also it affects you're inner deadzone as well. Lets say you have a 5% deadzone, you won't feel the foam til around 10-15% of actuation. This one can fuck up your muscle memory real bad. Imo id recommend this to anyone who plays with 10 or higher deadzone and also someone who doesn't play fast or go for trick shots really. In conclusion if you play on a low deadzone and have a fast playstyle I wouldnt advise getting these.
