BTW, kontrol freeks only fit on the wolverines if they're ps4 kontrol freeks and you slightly modify them to fit over the wide thumbsticks. It should also go without saying that you SHOULDNT use kontrol freeks on sticks that are already extended. That's just ridiculous lol

I got used to tall sticks instantly because i feel the sticks on regular is very short and small and using tall and wider sticks help me way much more than the regulars. This video is very good to watch to find about what other sticks they are. Great video

tbh i’m a huge fan of the elite series 2 long sticks when paired with the tightest tension for shooters, and the mid tightness with the much wider tip for anything else. found ur channel when i needed a sentence long comparison of elite 2 to alternatives and i’ve been hooked haha! cheers :)

I've been on PC for 3 years, and lost all ability to use a controller for shooters. As of now, I'm training myself to use a controller and plan to get wider thumb sticks due to this video. I've got the same exact control freaks on my PS4 controller and I've been using it for about 5 or 6 years now and it's helped more than I could've imagined, and now I kinda can't play on a stock controller anymore lol

First time watcher and I was extremely impressed. Amazing knowledge you are sharing with us. I use the exact same kontrol freak tip on my xbox series 2. I got the right stick set to max tension and I've put a cushion ring from kontrol freak around my stick. The only down side is that it still feels like it needs more tension. Call me crazy but im still searching for something to give it more tension.

I switched from the "stock" short shaft narrow tip to the long shaft narrow tip on my elite 2 and I think it helps with my movement speed/accuracy oddly enough. Slows me down and be more accurate but I'll buy a long wide and try that as well.

Like you said at the end what works for you simply works for you, but I personally use tall skinny tip and I find it consistent but I've just gotten used to it at this point and honestly I don't think I'd ever change tbh, just feels nice

Dome sticks actually feel better to me. I use a high rise dome on my right stick, it jus feels so much easier to move around and make those micro adjustments where as the concave ones feel awkward and not as in control when looking around.

I’ve been playing Outriders and hating the aiming and movement. Picked up a PowerA Fusion Pro and went with the taller thumbstick and what do you know? The aiming seems fine now. What’s weird is on my old controller I had no issues with Div 2 or Remnant. Idk but this new combo is working for me. Keep up the good work my man.

I was hoping you'd touch upon "aim assist" foam rings as an alternative means of increasing stick tension/accuracy. I have the Elite 2 and hate the tall stick as well, so I use both a grip to add height to the stock stick AND a foam ring to increase the "range of force" I can apply to the stick; then I just increase in-game sensitivity beyond what is normal.

The best combo I’ve used for FPS is I use a short ps5 concave stick on left for fast movement and long domed stick on right with grip it rubber top. Domed is easier to be precise for me because I can just roll my thumb slightly for small movements which are harder to do with concave sticks plus the rubber grip it make sure my thumb doesn’t slide off

I think the best way is to try to get used to using stock controllers with no accessories so you can go to your friends and own them without needed extra stuff. It's the same way I learnt to play the guitar right-handed even although I am left-handed so I can pick up anyone's guitar and play it.

I've been running 2 round top from the elite 2 (from 2 sets because they actually only come with 1) and I love it. All preference in the end. Tall sticks make my thumb tired and I just like the flow of the round.
