Nice job with this important subject. At higher levels there is a tremendous focus on hand speed. I loved the advice on exiting a hands battle you're losing by resetting. The ability to speed up and slow down the ball is a big part of pickleball mastery.

Great video! Please make one on how to know, and when, to back off the kitchen line in a volley battle. I’ve seen the pros do it. I guess what I’m asking is: how to improve forward and backward movement in relation to the ball.

Great video - so helpful. Next video - how to hold the paddle so I hit strong from the kitchen line in a battle. Sometimes I lose hold of the paddle and my shot is weak. Thanks! Keep these videos coming!

Need detail instructions on how to return a fast shot to the right shoulder and hip for right-handed players. Thank you for this video!!

Basically if it’s to the shoulder just sink in on your left leg. Bend your upper body and hips to the left while opening them up to the right to clear the way for your right hand to come through on the fore hand. Essentially rolling your upper body around the ball to hit a forehand. If you want to really look how to do it watch a professional table tennis match and watch how they hit hard forehand drives and it’s essentially that. You also have the option of moving towards your right and play a tight backhand almost in front of your face. I like to roll this shot with side spin. If it’s to your hip you can do this just more extreme, your can physically hop and move to your left and play a tight forehand, or move to the right and play a tight backhand.

Use the "Scorpion" method to sink down and use the paddle in an upright position. Search for scorpion pickleball skills and you should find a few for that Chicken wing spot. Not an easy one to defend or predict.

This all improves your ability to move once you react but for true reaction speed there’s no other solution than say throwing a lacrosse ball at a wall several thousand times and it will get better you just have to brute force raw reaction speed

What he’s saying is that these tips can only help you so much because if you don’t spend time working on your own reaction time then you will eventually plateau
