It’s sheer disappointment to see a common pattern - those who gain some popularity just start selling their services at unduly high price. Which elite class you will teach by offering 25000 pkr per month for a book club? your book club will be costing a student 3 lac rupees per year. How on earth a student would do that. If it were some accreditation course or certification then it would make sense that you are providing valuable service. It’s better if that student earns a professional degree or some tech oriented skills through which he/she could earn money, rather than gaining wisdom from EON book club. So he may not need to exploit people in future. Why common people have to compensate against suppressors of free speech??? Why can’t EON and other such channels make alliances and take legal actions , this way you will actually contribute toward rectification of dysfunctional system of Pakistan. People can contribute financially toward such legal initiative coz that’s for greater good. The way you made it all turn into an academy is nothing but disappointment. Your Emotional appeal won’t work btw, you might lose viewers.
