It really takes a little time and a bunch of stories to even form a real concensus of what one likes. Lighthouse is one of the better ones. Suggest Dark Somnium, Doc Creepen ,Magnetar, and Mr Creepypasta. each has a different style all are amazing storytellers

This was written so freaking well! Usually I don't care for cryptid interaction stories but this wasn't outlandish, the dogmen didn't hold a conversation or anything with the person narrating, they didn't witness an over the top werewolf battle lol this was a great story. The details about how the dad was drawn out and the mom barricaded the door etc made the emotional connection to the family and I wanted answers like Connor. Oh and about how the hands were heavier than they looked like how guns are...amazing analogy. Always 10/10 narration AND 10/10 story 🖤🖤

@@74the_magpieSome people don't think cryptids exist. I didn't either, but I was unbelievably shocked when I would listen to these encounters on Vic's show. This is going to sound bad but the first encounters were all in Wisconsin, Ohio, etc which I was relieved but the stories started coming from California and some close to where I live, I lost it because they are everywhere. Better to be knowledgeable I suppose.

Yea well its a lie, Mathew Hoffman was the killer of these people, he had taken the 14 year old girl to his basement and killed her there, he went out and showed where the body parts were stuffed into the tree!!! LIES LIES LIES AND MORE LIES TO REALLY DEGRADE A MURDERED FAMILY!

A great creepy story, with a terrific plot. The plot is a lot more involved than the standard scry story, and it makes for good story telling and great listening. I really enjoyed how the "wolf pack" leaders realized that the murders of the human family had to be answered for, and that the human "rangers" were willing to allow the pack to serve justice.

I’m a relative newcomer to this channel. I happened to have him pop up in my suggestion list some months ago. I read the title and description and decided to check him out. After listening to that one and a few others I decided to subscribe and after a few more stories added the notification bell. I have yet to be disappointed. He is one of about a dozen or so that I can give a like to before I even listen to the story. Some of my other favorites are Natures Temper, Dr Creepen, MR Creepy Pastas, Ghoulish Gal (although I haven’t heard from her in a while), Eden, Operation Insomnia, Brimstone Below, Hellfreezer and Creeperoni ( though I understand that there might be something going on so she hasn’t done anything recently but I strongly suggest that you check her out as she has some fantastic videos) and a few others. Each one is a phenomenal narrator and even if their stories get a little weird, it is still a fantastic video just to listen to

Dude I don’t know what it is, but ever since listening to your voice, it’s 2nd to none, your only competition is “MrCreepyPasta’s Storytime”, “CreepsMcPasta”, “The Dark Somnium”, and “CreepEN”. Even still they are great narrators but yours takes the cake! I just wished you did podcasts that I could sleep to, because sadly I don’t have KZfaq premium and running it all night would drain my phones battery. There is something about Dogman stories that absolutely terrify me. The Bigfoot stories are super interesting, sometimes a little bit spooky but this video tonight has me happy I live in town. @@LighthouseHorror I'm making noise in the woods, running the hell away, The woods to me in NYC is a block with a few trees on it and that's creepy enough lololol I been in the woods in NC and on a few other vacations but only like 5 feet in to look and afternoon time, I would be terrified at night that's why woods are my favorite stories im scared of them anyway

Supposedly, there was a witness to the killings who lived - a 14 y/o boy who had befriended the family when they arrived at the campground. He now has a YT channel where he tells his story, although I didn't subscribe to it and, thus, can't share it. What he had to say was absolutely terrifying and fascinating. This was an interesting follow on. Thanks for sharing it.

Its NOT, lies most of it besides the murdered family which has been desicrated, mutilated and now used in a lie of a story for clicks, it was Mathew Hoffman who killed these people and cut them up and showed them the tree he stuffed the body parts in! The murdered 14 year old was in his basement as well. Guess the dogman put them in his basement. Cant stamd lying channels who use people's deaths for clicks!!! Disgusting, as if this poor family hadn't been through enough already!

A young boy did survive and told the real story of what happened. He was with this family when they were attacked. He says they killed one of the monsters and that is what was in the tree. He has told the story here on youtube.

I've always had a fascination with beastfolk races and characters. One of my planned fantasy stories involves a species of humanoid wolves somewhat similar to those in the story - their interactions with early humans in the area may have played out like this. In present times, though, they coexist peacefully for the most part in a society built together.

@@Ares99999 such is the world. another story of mine (set in the same universe!) involves a long war between humans and dragons that have taken on humanoid forms. not like that's stopping the former from relentlessly persecuting and mistreating them...

Thing is, OTHER species would be the same as us. The Dragons having the moral high ground seems a bit silly. They're DRAGONS. They've killed plenty by definition.

@@Ares99999 exactly, these dragons may not be evil but they are predators by nature. the reason the whole war between the two species began was because the dragons stole and ate the humans' livestock, not understanding the concept of ownership and simply seeing the animals as free food these strange creatures brought in. of course it was justified for the humans to retaliate - and the dragons to fight back too, destroying settlements - which then in turn made the humans fight back harder... you get the idea. it's a vicious cycle.

Great share of this 80's era Ritual for peace with the Dog-man Lore. It's knowledge such as this example that may end of saving lives. Thou I'd be reluctant to perform the process. Then again as we're told that these entries for the most part are fictional stories. With this type of ungodly concern it's best to know your potential enemy especially if the world re-enters an time of the Dark ages. That without Light of day night for a permanent duration.

This story was excellent! Very thought provoking. What could be causing a break in the uneasy truce? Hmmmm maybe the alpha is dead & the replacement is more hostile towards people? Or hunters shot a female or harmed a young one. The theoretical aspect is endless. Definitely need a part2.

Likely? The humans realizing they've got the permanent, utterly overwhelming upper hand (4.6+ billion people in 1983) and have no need for a truce. When you scratch the surface a bit, the story makes no sense.
