In summary, the fans concluded that while Tuchel is a master in tactics, his man-management skills are less than desired. What Bruno does not have is freedom from the responsibility to retain possession. He does not have a Rodri/Gundogan/Bernado Silva. Only Kobbie Mainoo and Amad are possession retainers in our team. We need a Rodri type CDM e.g. Kamara, a Kobbie Mainoo alternate (i.e. press reisstant ball carrier) e.g. Ross Barkley behind Bruno so his possession retention liability is mitigated just like that of KDB.

I don't understand why some United fans treat Bruno this way. I could if it was genuine criticism but 99% of it is unjustified abuse. It's as if they're rival fans. Bruno assist are high partly because he does not make runs, all he does is to stand and shot the ball, hoping someone gets to it. He is not working hard enough to cover spaces, go beyond opponents and keep the ball. He just wants to shoot. Sometimes providing an assist yourself might not be the best thing to do. One can create indirect assists aswell. Look at Bayern Leverkusen, they have no one in the stats higher than him(Bruno), but the are champions of Germany, how do you explain that. I believe that was one of the tournaments that changed the mentality of Ronaldo of Portugal. We need a hard worker , Bruno style of play does not optimise his team mate's ability. When we scored the winner against Liverpool in the FA cup, a significant game, Ganarcho, Amad and McT were busy chasing every counter attack together. Those three did nothing fancy, but they persisted. Even Bruno was not involved in any of the goals on that day.He was ineffective. We need fighters at United. Players who are going to give the opposition a run for their money no matter who is on the other side of the pitch. Bruno has been missen when it mattered. Against Galatasaray, Copenhagen, Bournemouth, Wolves, the list is endless. This for me is a typical roller coaster performance from him, with no consistent impact.

There are 99 problems at the club but brunt ain't one. Although I have criticized bruno in the past (fair criticism I think) I also think he has been our best player since his arrival. Maybe with a better team and better system to suit his profile we can see his best.

Bruno is great but i think he would be much better behind 2 strikers in a 4-3-1-2. Bruno has to take risks to create and that is ok. It's when a pass doesn't come off and the opposition counters the midfield is non existent. The 4-2-3-1 system which ETH is playing does work it's the lazy players. But while ETH has to play the bad players the midfield needs another body.
