Mainoo and players who shouldn’t be playing are in the lineup eg. Martial & Rashford. Also ETH substitutions are nonsensical at times. Fact is 90% of the United team are just not good enough. Can’t polish a turd so to speak. United need a clear out. Sort out the boardroom, be done with Glazers and instil stability at the club. We need a complete makeover from top to bottom. There have been a few exceptions, but I've lost count of the number of times I've been frustrated at either Rashford's or Martial's half hearted efforts to win the ball back. We have some players who lack intelligence, Marcus is not a thinking player and often runs with the ball into dead ends, Luke Shaw plays speculative balls most of the time, Mactominay runs aimlessly around the pitch crashing into the back of players giving away fouls, our defense is in panic mode and scrambling back a lot of the time. Generally the attitude of United players is bad because they believe they are the best of the best if they are at such a big club (Sancho is a good example) The club needs open heart surgery because like Phil Neville says, making money is the priority of the club

It's simple mrscarlet good job,however the problem is simple we do not have midfielders comfortable receiving the ball under pressure,which is why we suffer against all top 8 teams neither Bruno nor mactominay are comfortable when pressured.

I think part of the issue is the combination of the players, its just not working, there's lots of small understandings between the players in critical situations (sometimes they pass the ball behind the player, or give the pass in a wrong time) some of these wrong passes cause us to look bad in counter attack and chase the ball even more in unorganized shape while trying to press after losing the ball causes us to look even worse.

I think the way ten hag sets up is too messy, there are always players out of position and out of formation, bruno will be all yhe way back, awb is sometimes found in midfield, which leaves a lot of holes on the pitch and weird or no passing lanes or options. His setup is just too messy.

If you watch their training videos it shows you why, in comparison the Ajax videos when ETH was manager the United players are Mike's behind them. Explains why they can't play the Ajax way. ETH doesn't help himself by starting Scott.

You said in a previous video that ETH shouldn't be telling each player what to do as they are experienced players. I respectfully disagree, these players play just for the sake of getting lucky and getting away with wins. They have zero determinattion, they rather get a foul than dribble past opposition, they rather leave the ball go out of play than pressing and getting an opportunity. EtH is obsessed with playing on transition. He may have calculated that over the course of the season in the prem the vast majority of the goals are scored from transition. This is a fact, but focusing solely on that leaves huge gaps in the midfield and exposes the defence. EtH may even amass more points this season but he will also see terrible defeats like against Bournemouth at home because your entire in-game tactic cannot rely solely on transition play. There is no control of matches. Even the wins against Chelsea and Everton saw both opponents miss guilt edged chances.

So how come MUFC players seem to lack bouncebackability, mental toughnes? When other big clubs seem to have players who have more mental resilience. In some cases it might be down to individuals, but not all cases. Players have different backgrounds, experiences and psycology, but it is something sport clubs around the world have worked with for decades. So what to do, for United players to develop bouncebackability and mental toughnes? MUFC is maybe the most scrutinized football club in the world. Hence the pressure is one of the most heavy world football. The players, alot of them, young men in early 20s, how to prepare them, develop mental toughnes and bouncebackability? Also when recuiting new players, has to be a big part of player assessment, can they cope with the pressure, and despite that, flourish and get better or will it break them? Many people ask why players get worse, when they go to United, the heavy pressure is without a doubt a big part of the reason why so many young talents fail at MUFC. And when the football is not going well, the pressure only gets more heavy, thus resulting in players getting lower morale and confidence. A bad spiral, hard to get out of. MUFC needs to take these facts info more account, like when Ten Hag got Lissandro Martinez, he said "Martinez is a warrior". And we have seen that, more warrior mentality players needed at MUFC. Unfortunately, Rashford do not seem to have warrior mentality, that part of the reason he is not at his best, when circumstances get tough. Antony is a warrior, Varane, Hojlund. Need more warrior types to wear the heavy MUFC badge. Rio himself was a warrior.
