By far, the most level headed review and defense about the L322. I own a 2010 HSE Lux, and it has held up pretty well north of 150k now. Maintenance aside, most repairs are one time deal. It seems faulty driving habits and abuse is what leads to many l322 reliability issues.

Fellow L322 owner (2012 Lux with N/A 5.0) I prefer that motor because as you say, you don't need the 510hp to go fast. It's not made to go fast like a sportscar. I haven't towed anything more than a light trailer with mine but have never felt 375 hp and torque is lacking. I get asked by friends all the time if it's brand new. lol. It's one of the best all around vehicles if you ask me. For BT audio get a Bovee or Invary adapter for audio. It's super quality in mine. Hope to see you more on the Rangerover forum and subreddit!

as a 08 westminster edition owner, i absolutely adore my rover. i only have two complaints. the bmw laminated plastic pieces that come off with time. and the size of the back doors. (i’m 6’3 and still fit however) but other than that i love it. and mine has been extremely reliable and i have almost 160k miles on it. keep up the good work!

Totally agree re: late model G Wagon

Instead of using a FM transmitter, get an Invery or Bovee. It’s a Bluetooth dongle that connects to the iPod port in the center console

Coolant leak is huge red. flag you have you take care of that ASAP next stage is engine overheat and usually on Ranges its a head gasket repair and heads machined

Spot on review. I have the same year and spec as you except mine is Buckingham Blue. Agree that if you perform regular maintenance at or before the service intervals these vehicles will last. Bought mine in 2014 with 45k miles and just crossed 175k yesterday. Just now getting a little chain slap so will be looking to replace those in the next 5k or so (have to get the transmission rebuilt in my 2010 LR4 with 196k miles first). I disagree about not needing the extra power with the SC. It comes in handy on frequent road trips between TX and Colorado where you have wide open interstate miles to cover! At 175k, more than likely there is slack in the SC coupling, so will replace that and add a smaller pulley and tune from ECU Tuning Group to add more power when I get the chains replaced! :)
