When I was in high school, a friend of mine’s father worked for the FDNY. When I went to his house to spend the night one time, in his basement were two blocks of glass from the World Trade Center. The first block had “WTC Bombing 1993” engraved on it, and the other hunk of glass had “9/11 WTC” engraved on it. The 9/11 glass was very thick, maybe “, a seafoam green color. The last thing my buddy’s dad had brought home was a very small steel I-beam, maybe 9” tall. It must have weighed 40lbs. Supposedly 99% of the glass from the towers was pulverized, almost nothing was found. My friend’s dad happened to find a big old hunk of glass from the 93 bombing and 9/11. I’ll never forget holding that glass.

I have a friend who interviewed for a job at the WTC, not sure exactly which Tower it was, back in the late 90's. It was on one of the very high floors, 90 or more. He asked the interviewer about the '93 bombing, and inquired if anybody there had thought about having parachutes on hand in the event of another emergency. The interviewer looked at him and said "absolutely not". Then, he asked what would happen in the event of a fire, being that they were so high up. The interviewer could not answer that question. Needless to say, he didn't get the job!

The famous explosion of the South Tower, you can see what looks like the shape of a plane in the fireball and the engine twirling smoke mid air, hitting the side of a building I think on Murray street and it hits a sign and lands on the street, not to mention the wheels of the first plane were like you said imbedded in the wall of the North Tower lying on the street next to the church, and under a scaffolding nearby on a street corner. It's pretty insane the pictures that the news don't show or didn't show that day.

Morbid comment, but in one of the videos of ‘’jumpers’’, three people appeared to just fall out of the building, running. Most of them were on fire or charred, but even still, the way they fell out of the tower, it’s obvious the floor had given way inside as they tried to run across, or there was so much smoke they couldn’t see the holes in the floor and fell through. This happened a few floors below the impact zone in the north tower, the side adjacent to the side that Edna Cintron was waving. When the south tower was struck, there was a sudden and immense puff of smoke that emanated from the north tower’s 100th or 99th floor or somewhere near the person who was waving a white sheet around. It suggests that a floor collapsed from the mere vibrations and force that occurred when the other tower was hit. There are places that were probably hanging in place by mere threads.

@jonathanwebster7091
@jonathanwebster7091 Ай бұрын
If you watch the actual collapse of the towers, you can see the inner core still stands for a few seconds (this is sometimes referred to as the 'spire'). With nothing holding it up, or at least, the structure holding it up being critically damaged, it was unable to hold it up, hence why it collapsed.
@carrollsanders9376

2600 dropped 12 feet Is 100,000 foot pounds per square inch, with 1 foot of leverage that's 1,000,000 foot pounds per square inch, the rain of debris inside the towers destroyed the supports and the Columns then buckled and move off the lower columns.
@lugiamastero13
@lugiamastero13 5 күн бұрын
yeah as mentioned in both collapses the core remained for a few moments before falling down i noted that they sway heavily to one side and i believe the concrete cracked on the lower portions as the debris made its way down and must of critically damaged any support it may have had resulting in the spire to unfortunatly collapse and fall down with the rest the only reason part of the core didnt completely get destroyed all the way into the ground on the north tower likely has to do with the spire falling to the side and breaking apart again from their bottom sections so its offsetted and didnt manage to crush wat remained as the miracle stairwell B
@carrollsanders9376
@carrollsanders9376 5 күн бұрын
@lugiamastero13 Yes the Collapses were a rain of debris inside the perimeter columns that stripped support from the core. It was always well known it was an internal connection failure do to impact from falling debris.

Hi there I'm wondering if you can do a video explaining the 17 minute between the crash of American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175 on World Trade Center Twin Towers which is 8:46AM and 9:03AM. Minutes after American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the North Tower New York Port Authority ordered a complete emergency evacuation of North Tower however they made the decision not to order an immediate full-scale evacuation of the South Tower because it was believed Flight 11's crash on the North Tower was a freak accident and not a terrorist attack yet until Flight 175 hit the South Tower and I know you talked about it in your video called "What if one of the Twin Towers git hit on accident". Port Authority thought evacuating the South Tower fully would slow down the recuse effort on the North Tower so at 8:55AM they made an announcement on the South Tower's PA system the South Tower is secured and for poeple who are evacuating to return back to their office so people had to choose on their own to stay or to leave, it's believed there were more than 3500 on and above floor 77 in the South Tower at 8:46AM and around 2900 people chose to leave and got down below floor 77 before Flight 175 hit the South Tower while more than 600 people chose to stay. At about 8:57AM New York City Fire Department and New York City Police Department officials said that the North Tower's disaster made the entire World Trade Center complex unsafe and the South Tower was requested to be fully evacuated and at 9:02AM a evacuation message to leave the South Tower was given to the people in the South Tower thought it wasn't mandatory to evacuate.

The beams didn't "melt", they just got weaker/softened by the intense heat in certain areas. Steel loses alot of it's strength as it heats up, way before it's melting point. Very similar to the way butter softens as it warms. Many of the internals of jet engines are titanium, which has a much higher melting point than steel.

@lugiamastero13 5 күн бұрын
debris from the collapsing north tower opened a huge gaping hole into building 7 and had already crushed a few supports but also started a devestating fire that burned out of control for several hours while fire fighters made an attempt to salvage the building but they reported hearing creaking sounds from it and Larry told the chief to pull out the crew as the building was gonna come down anyways id say 3 hours before building 7 eventually collapsed that building was designed similarly to the twin towers with it being a steel tube design i think this youtuber or another person made a video on this topic as well deeply explaining how the tower actually had been severely compromised and its supports were heavily damaged making its collapse inevitable

Here's something I noted that I find REALLY interesting: in the photo that starts a little before 5:00, do you notice something REALLY strange there?...... ......Well, if you DIDN'T, HERE it is: look at the "break points" where these pieces end: EVERY ONE OF THEM IS COMPLETELY CLEAN. COMPLETELY. Now, this PROBABLY is a photo taken during construction, and that would explain everything. But the date is unstated, so, maybe (probably) it's during construction. But MAYBE it's post-collapse. I'd bet money that it's construction (the structure is TOO clean), but if it isn't, it would be virtually impossible to be sheared at every joint uniting lower piece and upper piece. For anybody that MIGHT say, "well, this is after the collapse and they just might have torched the broken end off by then", notice how the top of many of the structure have a tiny "nub" on the end? That is obviously a connection element, and if the tops were sheared off, all those connection pieces would have been torched off WITH them. All of what I'm saying here is probably pointless, because it's almost certain that this is a construction photo, on the slight chance it's not (the structure post-collapse would NOT be so neat and uniform, it would be twisted, broken at random points, and scorched by the fires and smoke), but it's an interesting thing to think about.

@MFitz12
@MFitz12 Ай бұрын
16 feet? Have you ever been in an airplane??? Anyway,... this is *my summary explanation* of the collapses of the Twin Towers from start-to-finish, based on _my_ observations and without any appeals to, or reliance on any authority. No politics or ideology, my only agenda is what actually happened, which is agnostic to who planned and carried out the 9/11 attacks or why. What you are about to read has the benefit of *not requiring Rube Goldberg levels of complexity, and it makes logical sense* . Each step in the process flows naturally from the one before AND is chock full of critical details _the conspiracy oriented internet tends to leave out_ with no whataboutisms. Myh hope is this will *dispel many common myths and answer most if not all questions you may have* about the Twin Towers collapses. While complex, most of the Twin Towers collapse mechanisms can be seen with the naked eye and easily discerned and understood by the layperson if sufficient time is taken to understand. The worlds engineering community had already largely sorted them out at least as early as October/November 2001. Still, there are many who can’t be bothered to look or perhaps work hard not to see, being more concerned about advancing political/ideological agendas (which is exciting) than science and engineering (which is boring). 1. The Twin Towers consisted of 4 primary structural elements that together _formed an integrated system_ where each relied on the others. 47 hollow box-section steel *Core Columns* carry the majority of the gravity loads. The 236 hollow box-section steel *Perimeter Columns* carry the remainder and ALL of the lateral (wind) loads. Long-span *Lightweight Steel Trusses* connect the core and perimeter column together at each floor with a *Hat Truss* on top to tie the structure together as an integrated unit where no element can survive without the others 2. The impact of 117 tons of airplane (= to about 12 dump trucks) at speeds up to 590 mph completely destroys the aircraft. This in no way implies the Towers come out unscathed. Some folks don’t get that. Hitting with *the energy of up to a ton of TNT* the impact damages or destroys many perimeter and some core columns (33 of 59 perimeter and 20 core columns destroyed at the impact floors in the North Tower), primarily through _bolt-shearing failures_ at the end connecting flanges, as well as_bending, twisting and fracturing_ of weld seams. There was *no cutting or slicing* - the reality was far more violent and messy. 3. The impacts destroy or damage fire insulation, fire breaks and sprinkler systems on multiple floors. Huge fires are started across _multiple floors simultaneously_ and allowed to spread rapidly with no effective fire fighting or fire suppression. This was an _unprecedented fire event_ . All of this was observed and recorded. 4. The *hotter steel gets the weark it gets* . With fire insulation stripped away and no sprinklers the survival time of the steel greatly reduced. Gradually over time heat causes the lightweight steel Floor Trusses at the impact damaged floors to sag, which was observed and recorded. No steel melted nor did it need to. Structural steel will fail long before it turns to a puddle. It just needs to _bend_ 5. Sagging floor trusses pull on the increasingly weak and overloaded Perimeter Columns, causing some of them to bow inward by up to 5 feet. This was observed and recorded. A straight column is up to 4 times stronger than a bent column. 6. The bowed Perimeter Columns buckle and fail, initiating collapse. This was observed and recorded. The formerly static mass above which the structure below could easily support is now converted into a dynamic mass up to 30 times greater. Because they have buckled, the *Columns above and below the failure point are no longer aligned* . The load bearing structure below no logner bears any load as it falls falls _past_ the lower columns, NOT onto them. 7. Thousands of tons of debris fall within the four outer walls, down through the open office space, crashing onto the first intact floor it encounters. This massive impact immediately breaks the bolted connections to the columns as the amount of resistance the Floor Trusses can offer is negligible. The falling debris slows only marginally and briefly. Note: 7a. This is NOT a _solid top block crashing into and “crushing” a solid bottom block_ . 7b. The debris *falls past the columns* not onto them. The columns provide no resistance to the falling debris. 7c. Only the bolted connections of the floor trusses to the core and perimeter columns can offer any resistance. A pair of 5/8” bolts at each end of each truss vs. thousands of tons of falling debris. 8. This floor-led collapse progression _within the four outer walls_ can _only_ go straight down. Note: 8a. This process is often incorrectly referred to as “pancaking” which actually refers to a completely different process rejected at an early stage. The catchy name stuck but nobody knows what it is supposed to mean. Pancaking is too simplistic and inaccurate anyway. More like Kaiserschmarrn. 9. Collapse progresses through the _floor systems_ and *not* down the columns. Rate of floor assembly failures increases with each successive floor as momentum increases, reaching an average acceleration of 0.65 of GA, or 35% slower than true free fall. Bam, bam, bam down the building until there are no more floors to fail. The resistance offered by each successive floor is always the same. The mass and velocity and thus the energy of the falling debris are constantly increasing. The falling mass increases with every floor it destroys as new falling mass is added. Some falls to the sides, but most falls down. More mass, more velocity, same resistance with each floor. The above is unquestionably the _path of least resistance_ 10. The Towers were 985% air by volume and as that air was compressed inside the building it is forced down the tower and blown out the sides *in reaction to the building collapsing* not causing the collapse. Those were not “explosions”, it was compressed air. 11. Perimeter Columns become detached and peel away like a banana _behind_ the collapse front, playing out to the four points of the compass extending to more than 600 feet from the base of the towers. This was observed and recorded, the results quite obvious from examination of the debris pile. 12. Core Columns fail last as their internal beam bracing is stripped away and lateral support from the floor to perimeter columns is lost. This was observed and recorded and is most obvious in the North Tower. 13. For those who care about how long this took, the whole process took 31-34 seconds from the moment the perimeter columns buckled until the last core columns hit the pile, or 1/3 the rate of true free fall. Don’t believe me? Just watch any video of the collapses and note all the loose _and truly free falling debris_ dropping much faster than the towers themselves. 14. What was NOT observed and recorded were the 180-190 dB bangs of high explosives. Nor were the blinding bright flashes of the completely impractical burning thermite. Of course, neither could have caused the silent Perimeter Column buckling that was observed. Neither explosives or thermite could have survived the impacts and subsequent fires either. Cherry-picking a casual comment about hearing a loud noise in an even like 9/11 is not exactly “proof” of _anything_ and the _pre-planned_ demolition case relies entirely on that. There is zero physical evidence to support either conjecture, and no plausible method by which it could happen.Simply, no one in their right mind would bother. Pre-planned demolition is preposterous, utterly impractical and unnecessary proposition. 15. Finally, the Twin Towers were perfectly safe within their design envelope. They only collapsed when taken far outside design parameters by an extraordinary and unprecedented event. To recap: *Impact + Fire (heat) + Time + Gravity = Collapse* . Remove any one of those four elements and there is no collapse. Ignore any of those elements (as most do) and you will never understand the collapses. The Twin Towers were an _integrated system_ in which no one element could survive without the others. One element fails, the rest follow, through the _path of least resistance_ - DOWN - thorugh the open space while bypassing the path of greatest resistance - the columns. Hopefully none of you are still stuck on the _but the lower floors weren’t on fire_ nonsense. I hope you found this helpful as this was meant to be informative not adversarial and serve as the basis of productive discussion. As such, serious comments and questions are always welcome. *Deliberately evasive off-topic derails* are not. Please though, just *one on-topic point at a time* to stay focused. *No Gish Gallop* . This is a living project which is updated and improved frequently. If I have left anything critical out or made any errors of fact, logic or reason please feel free to point them out. _Explain what I got wrong and how_ and I will make the necessary corrections, altering my hypothesis if necessary. Just telling me _I’m wrong_ without explanation tells me you are not serious and probably a bit dim. IF you can offer a more plausible alternative be my guest. So far no one has even tried.

I'm going to respectfully disagree with you, but rather than just simply assert _you are wrong_ and beat my chest I will present a detailed affirmative case explaining why mine is the better alternative. I find the collapses of the Twin Towers intellectually fascinating. My primary interest in this topic is in _understanding the actual mechanisms_ of collapse. What failed, how it failed, in what sequence and why. I also enjoy being able to talk about the engineering with others who share an equally _genuine interest_ in understanding _what actually happened_ . So let's talk about it and if you disagree with anything that follows, please let me know what and why. This is *my* summary explanation of the Twin Towers collapses and mine alone, presented as a comprehensive analysis from start-to-finish, based on _my_ observations and supported by evidence, without any appeals to or reliance on any authority. No politics or ideology, my only agenda is the mechanics and engineering - what actually happened and this is agnostic to who planned and carried out the 9/11 attacks or why. Importantly, it *does not require Rube Goldberg levels of complexity, and makes logical sense* . Also, you will learn all sorts of things _the conspiracy oriented internet won’t tell you_ and no whataboutisms. This should *dispel many common myths and answer most **_any_** questions you may have* about the Twin Towers collapses. Twin Towers collapses are complex but most of the mechanisms can be seen with the naked eye and understood by the layperson if sufficient time is taken to understand. Those mechanisms were well understood by the worlds engineering community already by October/November 2001. Still many can’t be bothered to look or work hard not to see as they are often more concerned about advancing political/ideological agendas and bother understanding the science. This will take just a few minutes. 1. The Twin Towers consisted of four (4) primary structural elements which together formed an integrated system. Over time heat causes lightweight steel floor trusses at the impact damaged floors to sag. This was observed and recorded. No steel melted nor did it need to. Structural steel will fail long before it turns to a puddle. You just need to get it to _bend_ 5. Sagging floor trusses pull on and cause the inward bowing of the increasingly weak and overloaded perimeter columns by up to 5 feet! This was again observed and recorded. Bent columns lose much of their ability to support a load. A straight column is up to 4 times stronger than a bent one. 6. The bowed perimeter columns buckle and fail on one face of each Tower, initiating collapse and converting the formerly static mass above them into a dynamic one 30 times greater. Again, this was observed and recorded. Columns above and columns below the failure point are no longer aligned. The load bearing structure below is no longer bearing any load as the mass above falls _past_ the lower columns, NOT onto them. 7. Thousands of tons of debris pour down the open office space _within the four outer walls_ . This loose debris crashes onto the first intact floor it encounters, grossly overmatching the floors load capacity and near instantly breaking the bolted connections to the columns. The amount of resistance the floor offers to this dynamic load is negligible and slows the falling debris only marginally. 7a. Note: This is NOT a _top block crashing into and “crushing” a bottom block_ . 7b. This debris *falls past the columns* not onto them, thus the columns can provide no resistance to the falling debris. 7c. The only structure resisting the collapse is the bolted connections of the floor trusses to the core and perimeter columns. A pair of 5/8” bolts at each end of each truss vs. thousands of tons of falling debris. 8. This floor-led collapse progression _within the four outer walls_ can _only_ go straight down. 8a. Velocity and momentum are constantly increasing. 9b. With each floor failure the falling debris gains mass, momentum and energy as it descends to the next floor. The falling mass increases with every floor it destroys as new falling mass is added. Some falls to the sides, but most falls down. More mass, more velocity, same resistance with each floor. 9c. The above is unquestionably the _path of least resistance_ 10. As air is compressed inside the building (95% air by volume) it is forced down the tower and out the sides. No longer able to work in academia due to a traumatic brain injury suffered in a cycling accident, this former tooth specialist confirmed her disability by writing a really stupid book about magical space beams powered by hurricanes that turn entire buildings into "dust" (and mildly singe some cars). Because that is the sort of thing one would do when staging what absolutely has to look like terrorists using hijacked Kamikaze planes _and nothing else_ FFS 🤦‍♂🤦‍♂

Hey Larry Silverstein, we know you demolished the trade center on purpose, we know about how there was thermite planted in the elevator shaft, we know that the specific floors that got hit by the towers were being renovated with a very explosive and flammable paint, we know that you mentioned how there's so much unused room that it deemed the building useless, we know you demolished it because it couldn't be wired for the Internet, even though it could, just look at the sears tower. The building was built to sustain multiple large aircraft crashes. Also after the plane hit, why did it randomly start falling apart? The bottom half of the building could withstand the top half of the building, even if it fell off, it couldn't have destroyed all of the bottom half, every force has an equal and opposite reaction. What about building 3 (hotel),4,5,6 and building 7? What about that Greek church that was forced demolished? Are we forced to forget about it? Nah man, also jet fuel can't melt steel beams

Why are their so many fire fighters who all stated they heard bombs exploding. Fire fighters finding many many floors with extreme amount of damage while they were working their way up evacuating floors. Finding dead body's stuffed into closets. Elevator shafts they claim jet fuel come down to explode inside the lobby that people were found trapped in. The list goes on and on

Listen, those buildings WERE SPECIFICALLY BUILT TO WITHSTAND THE IMPACT OF TWO PASSENGER JETS EACH. This was STATED CLEARLY ON A LARGE GOLD PLAQUE IN THE LOBBIES OF BOTH BUILDINGS...I saw these plaques with my own eyes several times visiting the towers. This fact was also reiterated to me by a bartender at the Windows on the World restaurant on the top floor when I randomly mentioned the unbelievable height of the buildings while having lunch there. These towers fell into their own footprints just like any Vegas hotel we've ever watched get taken down by controlled demolition on live TV. Inside job if there ever was one. I'm not saying there were no planes but I am saying that those buildings didn't just crumble from a fire, no matter how big, 80 floors up. They were wired to help bring those towers down and the trigger pulled fifteen minutes apart.

It did what the plaque said, it withstood the impact of passenger jets. It only fell later. Fuel and fire wasn't factored into the equation back then.

They were built to withstand a passenger liner flying into it by mistake, say at 30-40 mph, at speeds that would be normal for flying in a built-up area with lots of tall buildings. What they weren't built to do was withstand was a the force of a passenger liner hitting them at hundreds of miles an hour. No building can withstand that.

The jets were flying at over 500mph. They were fully fueled for flights to Los Angeles. The trusses sagged and eventually the brackets broke from the lattice structure, pancaking on each other. Definitely not a conspiracy.
@InqvisitorMagnvs
@InqvisitorMagnvs Ай бұрын
The World Trade Center towers were steel skyscrapers; 110 stories into the sky were not being supported by “reinforced concrete” The Twin Towers in particular had a unique hollow tube-like design with an open floor plan on all sides, surrounding a central core; the exterior of the WTC was a relatively thin and lightweight exoskeleton-floors supported only by weak trusses between four perimeter walls and the core. And even water can cut through steel at a high enough velocity, that's how a water jet cutter works for cutting all kinds of metals and materials. The high velocity exponentially increased the concentration of energy to levels far beyond what the WTC structures were designed to withstand; e.g. doubling the velocity of a fully-fulled Boeing 767 flying in clear skies at full speed straight toward a tower would quadruple the amount of energy contained in the plane when it struck the tower. The enormous amount of energy released from the initial jet impacts also dislodged spray-on fireproofing on the aforementioned trusses supporting the floors throughout the Twin Towers. Burning steel skyscraper walls and floors full of flammable office materials collapsing in on each other would cause explosions, yes; naturally, whatever was on the floor below had to explode somewhere when the surrounding walls caved in and floors above came down crushing the floor below. Anything that remained would just be pulverized.

It's kinda a shame the NIST report is considered "an old forgotten" publication because that and the 9/11 Comission Report are where anyone with a serious interest in the events needs to start. The 9/11 Comish. Report is very dated as they believed the FBI and CIA weren't holding back evidence - we know now they absolutely were but for someone with just a basic awareness of the attacks, that report is a primer. It will get you up to speed. The NIST Report is the results of a years-long multi-disciplinary study whose origins stem from multiple flawed, one-dimensional studies undertaken by different bodies like the NTSB and the FBI in isolation from each other. The NTSB in particular understood it was incapable of reaching a sufficient conclusion on its own and basically admitted its report sucked and urged a bigger, more organized multi-org endeavor within the conclusion of that report. Hence the NIST study that comes later on which is the document from which we know anything about what happened structurally with the towers that day. It's THE most important document of the events on a procedural level. However, those prior studies still exist and THOSE are the forgotten, old studies that need to be looked into because while their conclusions were largely faulty they include interesting details from a very fresh perspective relative to the event itself. So if you can find them, and already have a good foundational knowledge of the event, look through the NTSB report, the FBI report, the exhibited evidence released via the few judicial proceedings to come after the fact (proceedings which as of this very week reveal new, illuminating evidence), and any other old pre-NTSB studies done by different orgs and agencies. EDIT: I appreciate the more concerted effort to synergize what you're talking about with what you display on screen. The report itself actually has the pictures it describes overlayed with red highlighting to better illustrate elements (like the sagging floor) for the readers. The molten material seen "dripping" from the corner if WTC 2 is something I bet a LOT of you have seen without realizing you've seen it. It features in a lot of wideshot and closeup footage of the event, particularly from the NYPD choppers.
