you need to listen to in flames live at sticky fingers, it is one of those performances that have something magical about them, where every song is better than the album in some way, the energy of it alone is amazing

Great album, but you really REALLY should react to The Jester Race/Whoracle/Colony/Clayman, you won't be disappointed

This record contains many energizing and catchy tracks that are potential hit singles! The guitar work is in that ideology of simple and aggressive. That heavier riffs and simplified melodies can make any album aggressive. In many of the songs featured on "Soundtrack To Your Escape", there is a pretty large emphasis on keyboards, which was something that was toyed with on previous In Flames’ releases, but not on this scale. These keyboards combine with electronic sound and vocal effects, along with heavily triggered drums giving the album an industrial sound that no other album in the In Flames discography has. One of the most obvious examples of this can be found in the track “The Quiet Place” which is probably the most famous song from the album in general.
